I receive emails outside of this forum from MJP (Michael Pirko) and unfortunately his brother reached out and notified us that he passed away this morning.

I didn't see this in any of the other forums so I apologize if this was already announced.

Damn. Saturday was his 74th birthday.

Went back with him all the way to the old ESPN Browns board. Coyote, BrownsFan92 and I were on another board with him too.

He's been battling medical issues for over a decade, sadly it got so common-place that you thought he'd always make it through them.

Sad day. Definitely someone we'll all remember.

Mike had more courage than all of us put together in fighting this long term infection. I'm so sorry to hear he has lost that battle, but his soul has gained the eternal love that is my hope will be there for all of us. RIP Mike. You were a real trooper!!?
