Our Friend MJP has passed away

Well....shit. This sucks something awful.
Always had good interactions and conversations with him. I'm just looking at his last posts now, wish I could've had the time and inclination to pop my head into the 'eating thread', which usually isn't my jam.
I would have wished him well.
Godspeed, Mike. You get the best seats in the house every Sunday.

He really made me feel welcome as a foreign Browns fan on this board. He will be dearly missed.

RIP Mike... I knew that he was in poor health... One of the other Mods that helped keep me 1\2 sane here.
He's not the first who has passed on from this Board, and he won't be the last. Several of us are up in Mike's age range (74). Sadly "Just one before I die" wasn't in the cards for him. ?

He looks like a good dude. I always liked his style of posting here and I'm sure that reflects on who he really was as a person outside of the BB multiverse.
Just sucks getting older and seeing more and more lives come to an end..... hug em when you can, tell 'em how you feel and just try and be nice is really all that any of us can do.

I know mjp mentioned this board/us often to his wife Nancy, so I thought she would appreciate us acknowledging Mike’s presence in our lives. He deserved a nice send off by us.
