The Official Browns vs Bengals Game Thread Oct 20th

Clean pocket, Watson just didn't reset his eyes and instead walked himself into pressure.  The under to his left was coming open.

This once again is getting painful to watch.

[tiamat63]

That's the difference between feeling and anticipating pressure.  Watson had more time on 3rd down to remain in the pocket and let his receivers work off route structure.  He didn't, and that sucks.

Someone needs to pull a Denver and admit this roll of the dice came up snake eyes, and cut your loss, and move on.

Fixed that for you!

If anyone is watching the multi-view on YT TV, that pick from Darnold is about a microcosm of what I say when you put an average QB into a system with good talent around him.

He had zero business throwing that ball and he just didn't see it despite having plenty of time.

Watsons Achilles is done for the year

Here we go.

That looks like a snapped achilles

[tiamat63]

Achilles.  Watched a buddy do that same thing this past summer.

Definitely the end of his year and maybe his career realistically

[D Bone]

We are all about to find out just how bad the team is or how bad Watson was.

[tiamat63]

Coming out with the inside zone read using DTRs legs, I like it.

[bbedward]

What a BS call

Big Nick energy!

[BernieSuperBowl2]

Hopkins 0/2 on the day. Gave up kick return TD. Special teams is blowing chunks today.

[Marvin the Martian]

We also need a reliable kicker

[syd]

[ClaretBrown]

Lets hope this is some sort of turning point

Winston was relegated to emergency QB today.
