The Browns are Moving to Brook Park

calfoxwc

I Guess it will cost Cleveland, if he is correct, about 30 million bucks in revenue every year?

A lot of small businesses may be hurt.

Whatever. They should wait til they are a super bowl team. I figure they went

and splashed the gigantic watson trade to help them get there, to get their new stadium.

But it blew up in their faces. We always loved going to the games once in a while, but at this point,

the best seat in the house, is at home in front of the TV.

I don’t live in Cleveland anymore, so it won’t cost me a dime. But after being a season ticket holder from 1999 to 2017. I would rather it be a dome out in Brookpark. The downtown site sucked. Unless you were a tailgater. Which I did maybe once a year. And we still would take the train in and meet friends in the muni lot. I never drove my own vehicle to that mess down there.

The new place will be used 200-300 times a year for numerous things. That place down on the lake was used 15-20 times a year. Way more money for the region, and Jimma Dee, I know, but the family is putting up mega millions to build it. He should make money from it. And I don’t like them and wish they would go away, but what other Billionaires are coming to town to spend that kind of cash?

I’m glad I got to visit the stadium on the lake before it went. I liked that you could visit the bars downtown and just walk to the stadium it’ll be a shame that’s no longer possible

Welcome back.

I am pretty sure it will simply boil down to swapping watering holes. In my book a pint is a pint. It doesn't really matter where you are drinking.

I'm sure there will be plenty of bars built by the new stadium.

With Watson as the QB, the fans will need them

The sooner they can leave this stadium and it's horrendous history...the better!

It won't matter if H-ass-lam still owns the team...With the garbage they have been producing... I have very low hopes of anything good coming in my lifetime... Guy's like Larry, Steve,Cal and Myself don't have forever... And I know I'm missing a few others... But we don't have anymore time for this retooling/rebuild shit... Can we get Jimmy G off the street even?... Will have to check that one... Injured? or elsewhere?.. I don't know.. I think a smart vet could do well with this team.. Too late for playoffs.. But at least make a fun competitive season and find out who may , or may not be back next year... The Browns pooched themselves in to a dark corner with their bungling shit up.. I don't think DTR is more than what he already is.. You expect more flashes of brilliance by now.. But yeah.. His sample size is minute.. I'm just not seeing it with him either... But I love his attitude...

Yeah...but by the same token, he doesn't get to work with the starting offense. He's usually running the scout offense against our D. I'm assuming that they're going to want to get a good look at him from here on out.

So Destination Cleveland, some Cleveland civic group(?) came up with this idea for a domed Browns stadium on the lakefront where Burke Lakefront Airport is now. Not a bad looking dome.
