We've had a lot of discussions about artificial intelligence. I stumbled across this program which allows you to input up to 54 characters text and it generates a song. I'm assuming the instruments are all synthesized as are all the voices and lyrics. This particular one generated a couple of phrases I didn't even type in. There are hundreds of excellent sampled instrument sounds out there. Add a few rudimentary voice creating apps.
Those of us who are singers have always felt that the human voice could never be recreated by a machine. This one does sound a bit mechanical but as fast as technology moves..... Who knows what it will be like in one year comma or even one week..
Pandora is box is wide open.

AI is dangerous. It will become much more advanced and soon won't need humans to program information into it. It will basically be an actual living thing, but not made of flesh and blood.

From the recording standpoint I guess it's just the next step that started with plate reverb, compression comma multitrack digital recording, ny a number of effects including auto tune ...

I'm not anything more than a music lover but imo it's close to being good.
The voice sounds too digitized and I think it carries the same pitch through the entire song. If I heard it too many times, I'd get sick of it fast.
If you added the human factor it would probably be a good song though.

It's a statement of fact. You're old. You're on death's door. Nature will take it's course sometime in the relatively near future.
AI advancing to a state where a good number of jobs are becoming obsolete and we need to adjust as a society to avoid an even more dystopian future. That is probably further out than the years you have left.
So the ask is to not fuck things up even more than you and your generation already have. Though I'm sure you'll continue to vote and think extremely short sighted as you fuck up as much as possible and desperately to maintain your grip over everything
