  • I think most of America saw through the lies and crap the dems pulled and the damage they have been doing.

Pres Trump will have a rep House AND Senate.

I don't doubt they will start fixing problems.

And most of America got sick and disgusted with the direction our country

was going, and how they let us be invaded by millions of UNVETTED illegals.

The scum swamp weasels have to be OUT of our cia, fbi, irs, doj, etc etc etc.....

and stop the dei preference garbage.

  • For one, the Dems installed a candidate that was not really appealing to any one.

Before anyone chimes in with, “yeah, but she received 46 million votes”.

These are the same people that totally ignores the fact that some people will vote for a glass of water with “D” next to it.

Not to mention, she didn’t even garner 2% of the votes when she was running for the Democratic nominee back in 2020.

  • I would've posted this no matter how the election turned out. But what went wrong four anti Trump brigade?

In my opinion, the democrats went too far to the left Bill Maher is correct. Also the left comma more so than the right in my opinion comma what way over the top with the hate speech.

Not sure the thread will survive without everybody getting nasty with each other, but let's try.

Harris did not run a campaign that was "too far left". Look at her stances on immigration and Israel. Basically the same as Trump with less hate towards immigrants, Palestinians.

There are countless polls showing Americans being in support of "liberal" policies when asked in a vacuum. Those policies are popular. Abortion rights just won in 7 of 10 states. It even had a majority of support in Florida but they needed 60% to win.

I think the problem was she didn't distinguish/ separate herself enough from Biden. Maybe hard to do as his VP, but it needed done.

She also just wasn't that appealing of a candidate. Most of the excitement was "at least it's not Biden" excitement. And considering all the baggage Trump had, and that he picked Vance, and also ran a bad campaign, it's even worse she lost.

    Yeah, that's it ?

She supported policies(I think she had some) no one liked and she flipped flopped on everything so no one trusted her.

She was useless as VP and it mattered this time because most of us knew Biden wasn't capable of doing shit. She was the one finalizing everything.

There was a reason she pulled out of primaries early last election.

This was a candidate that relied solely on identity.

She was installed because Trump was going to win no matter who the dems put in there. This past 4 years was a shit show.

Aside from that, people are tired of the shit and trusted Trump to do a better job, again. Trump was a good President, that's a big part of the reason Harris lost.

  • I seen a pie chart CNN or Fox showed last night, it showed the biggest concerns were democracy and the economy. More than double for everything else each.

You can say Harris this or that, but after Biden and his 1st term, I think most people realized just how good Trump was.

I'm not going to rehash covid. Especially when I know the asinine beliefs on this board.

But regardless of the policies in America, the pandemic affected the entire globe. The economy was affected for years afterwards. We still see impacts on the supply chain.

To ignore it when talking about the economy is stupid. But obviously it was best for Trump to talk about inflation from a year ago, not mention COVID, and obviously not mention how everything was continuing to improve

    All because they mishandled it.

  • What I found amusing listening to CNN was all their talking strategies of how to win or what Harris could have done that had nothing to do with the simple premise of being honest.

Put together some intelligent policies, listen to America as a whole, follow the constitution and people will respond. It's almost as if the left can't because they are filled with agendas that don't benefit American citizens.

  • The Dems simply went way too far left.

Perhaps she didn't run a campaign that was too far left, but she represents the far left.

She ran a campaign of no substance.

Hate of immigrants? When will you white liberals ever put a lid on that bullshit?

Oh no! We have a NAZI in the White House, it's the end of democracy!!!

Your excuses are superficial and not the hard-core reasons she lost, but good attempt anyway

This election was historic if you hadn't notice.

Trump has attracted a coalition of people a Republican has not done in decades.

He has doubled the black vote, he has surged among Latinos, and voters under 30 yrs. of age. It's time you catch up as well.

He wins both the popular vote and EC, and sweeps the battleground states.

This was not about just a couple of issues, this is a clear indication that this election has been a repudiation of liberalism, the demonrat party and it's policies.

The demonrat party is broken and needs to stay broken.

Actually she didn't even run a campaign. She didn't have a primary. They kept her out of sight because her cackling annoys people. She let her surrogates go out there attacking Trump for being a Nazi a racist and misogynist a dictator blah blah blah all of which was b*******. And whether they are her surrogates or the hard left of the party who supported her.. most normal people believe that a man has a dick and a woman has a p****. Most normal people don't think biological men should be playing women's sports. Most normal people are opposed to an unlimited flood of illegals crossing the border and realize that was her job for the last 4 years. Most normal people believe that the country was on the wrong track and whose job was that to fix? And why didn't she? And how is it impossible for her to answer the question did she or didn't she notice that Joe Biden's mind was falling apart? Why couldn't she answer the question what's the difference between a man and a woman? I know you enjoy the spin Woody but most people don't. Not enough people were choked up by the idea she'd be the first this or that. And fortunately for the country you people that are absorbed with abortion couldn't really tie Bernie Moreno or JD's statements on it to president Trump. Fortunately for us on what serves as the right you guys didn't have a primary in which case I think Gavin Newsom would have mopped the floor with her. Add to another point I think Bernie Moreno would have mopped the floor with Sharon Brown that he not been so outside the public view on abortion.

    WSS

  • And she couldn't even play the I'm a Democrat I'm a woman I'm so much smarter than you card because she went to Howard f****** University and UCLA San Francisco and didn't do all that well there. And she flunked the bar two or three times. Plus there's the anti-semitism which stinks up the Democratic Party these days, she wouldn't pick Shapiro has a running mate because she didn't want to piss off BLM. Most people don't have a lot of respect for BLM.

  • Beyonce, Lady Gaga and other celebs at Kameltoes rallies was a brilliant move.

Doesn't really matter to me anymore Steve. The Party of Trump aka the GOP (I'll just say this) be careful what you wished for- because by God, you just got it. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, and Donnie certainly has that now. A Republican House and Senate will certainly do his bidding, regardless of how wacked out and irrational it happens to be.  MHO- a vote for Trump is actually a vote for JD Vance. Because I seriously doubt Donnie will last another four years before they have to get the guys in the White Coats & haul him off to a mental institution. At least JD isn't batshit crazy.

Not just Donnie winning Steve, his payback appointees that are coming scare the mortal shit out of me. Steve Bannon as Chief of Staff, or brain worm anti vaxxer Kennedy in charge of the FDA and CDC... That's just the start.  Maybe I should wish to be like Elijah under the broom tree and wish I was dead.
