Currently our 2025 first round pick is....

The Browns Board

5 with 2 wins.  (yesterday the Dolphins had 2 wins but fewer losses than we had so we were technically ahead of them in the race to the top of the draft board.  now they have more wins AND fewer losses)

Only teams left with 2 wins only are Browns, Jag, Giants, Titans and Raiders. My math skills are as old as.................................well, me.?😛

I can't see the Browns winning 3 more games this season.

4-13 or worse is going to put the Browns right up there for the #1 overall pick.

Hopefully someone is enamored with Sanders, the Browns are on the clock, and they trade down and collect a king's ransom to do so.

He's the best QB in the draft to my eye, so I'm sure plenty of other GMs will feel the same.

that's what we have been talking about for awhile now, we need to re stock. And you know the cap is going up and up and I believe we can absorb #4's contract and still be a competitive team.

This week the 2-8 Jags play at the 8-1 Lions.   -  Let down week for the Lions??

The 2-7 Raiders are at the 3-6 Dolphins.  -  Better if the Raiders win.

The 2-7 Titans host the 7-2 Vikings.  -   Go Titans.

I feel like I should put together a Offensive Tackles thread like the QBs one I did a while back.

Not if Ray Farmer has any say about it.  🙂

Thinking ahead 2026… Can we just make sure the Ravens or Steelers don’t end up with Caleb Downs…he is the kind of player that they draft, it haunts us…and guy ends up in the Hall of Fame.

Looks like things stay the same this week.  No worse than pick #5.

The 2 win teams and their respective 'possible wins' going forward.

The Jaguars play the Titans twice and the Raiders.

The Raiders play the Jags and the Saints.

The Giants play the Saints and Cowboys.

The Titans play the Jags twice.

----  We can only control what we can control.  We have to keep our focus.  We can't look beyond the next game on the schedule.  We have to concentrate on losing One Game At A Time.  🙂

Looking at the draft order, there's a plethora of teams behind us that need a QB, as you would expect.

    Trade Down Time!

As we know, Strength Of Schedule at the end of the season is what breaks ties for draft order.

Remember way back to week one?  When the Cowboys lambasted us like they were pros and we were armatures?  Well, to this point in time, it is that game that separates us in the race for the #1 pick.  -  Go Dallas, beat Houston.

Here's what would happen if we were to lose sufficiently to attain the number one pick in the draft:

    1)  Jimmy Haslem would fire Kevin Stefanski.

    2)  Jimmy Haslem would hire Deion Sanders as Head Coach.

    3)  The Browns would draft Deion's son to be Quarterback.

Deion isn’t coming here and he sure isn’t going to let his son come here.

your right ! because it is going to be the Mannings taking a 10pct share of ownership to get their kid to be our QB

If you had a kid that was a standout QB in college, why would you want them to come to the Browns? This is QB hell.

Still not worth ruining  your kids future as a player Plus Jimmah isn’t giving up any stake in the team.
