    @turkeyjones

Saw all 3 of your guys' comments.

The Bengals were going to run out clock, but there was an offsides just at the snap.

When you have a prolific QB-WR combo like Cincy has, it becomes ingrained in their psyche that when singled up and a non dead-ball defensive penalty that Chase is going to attack vertically.  Either it's complete or pass interference gets hacked on, but it's a win-win.

It wasn't classless, it was just bang-bang football without thinking from two players that have been doing it for years.   Second nature, no harm, no foul.

Well there's a thing called respect. Yeah, yeah, one could argue the Browns don't deserve any respect, but when it's 17-6 you've got the game locked up.

This reminded me of when Buddy Ryan had Cunningham throw a TD vs Dallas, up 52-7.

You guys can have your opinions & I'll have mine.

I just hope the Browns don't forget it.

    Neat.

  • We get it to the one on the opening drive and Foreman coughs it up.  That guy hasn't played a whole lot of snaps...but he's sure fumbled a lot.

Pretty bad game for us.   It's humiliating.  I just wanna cry.  Lucky it's football...cuz there's no crying in baseball.  🙂

At least the Panthers won so we move up a spot (at minimum) in the draft.

....wonder which round we'll be drafting a kicker in.   What in Holy-Hell happened to Hopkins?   At this point, I'd cut him.

  • Nice that you guys have the Packers to root for in the playoffs.

You won't admit it, but that is the team you root for when the Browns season is over every year by Thanksgiving.

Nothing like low class. Fortunately, most Packer fans I know aren't assholes like you. Yeah, the Browns suck this year- tell me something I don't know.

Har, har, you're not even the best team in the NFC North this year. Lost to the Lions twice, and the Vikings once. Eked one out over the Bears by a point.  You're not paying attention Packer Fan- we've (almost) all jumped on the Lions bandwagon this year. I have extra incentive, as the wife's side of the family are all from Toledo.

I suspect after missing that XP Hopkins is gone. It's a strange thing with kickers going from "can't miss" 2023 to "can't make" 2024. His kicking stats are the worst in the league.

Tankathon has moved us into the top 5.

The crazy thing is all I heard this week in the lead up to the Ohio State/Tennessee game is that the DLine was the Vols strength and how would OSU's banged up OLine deal with them, but their secondary was a little shaky and could be exploited.

JUST. LIKE. THAT. TEAM. UP. NORTH.

This time Ohio State attacked the opposing team's weakness and went tempo, and the Vols DLine was standing between plays sucking air with their hands on their hips. I'm thrilled by the job the coaching staff did last night and in the lead up to the game, but it almost makes me more irritated about how incredibly stupid they were the Saturday after Thanksgiving against a far inferior team.

I was worried about how the o line would hold up too.

3 huge differences I saw this game:

    1.  OSU didn't try to run the ball up the middle (the strength of ichigan) the whole damn game

    2.  Kelly got the ball to the play makers right out the gates

    3. Howard played a fantastic game.

They looked like a totally different team

OSU had a collective brian fart in the Michigan game. Repeatedly trying to run the ball- when they couldn't.

I have not checked the score yet.

I find it kinda funny we have a packers troll, I don’t think there’s a team browns fans could possibly care less about than the packers.

Did your wife cheat on you with a browns fans or something. It’s just a strange thing lol.

I don't post much anymore BB, otherwise I'd ban him. Over the years we've had assorted other team trolls. KC and a few others.

Cool, good luck with that Lions "bandwagon jumping." The team of your new fandom has not won a thing since 1957. Losers just like your Browns. Not surprising that you fit right in. Enjoy!

And you haven't won anything since 2011.  Keep the trolling up. You just might have to find another Forum to post on. One of the different Mods (who's currently inactive) would already have kicked your ass off.

It's the Mike Leach school of pile it on. Up about 40 or so points with seconds to go in the game inside the A&M 5, he decided that Texas Tech needed to throw for another TD. His comment when put on the spot about it after the game? "Well, they should have stopped me if they didn't like it!" I was not a fan of his from that point on. Before that I respected him as an offensive genius. Piling on late when the game is really over shows a lack of character IMO.

In college I can see the reason for it. Especially back then when you live and die by rankings.

In NFL it doesn't have much of a place outside letting the 2's and 3's play ball. You can't tell those guys to take it easy.

Classless move but makes no difference. The factory of sadness continues to exceed expectations

The Browns-Bengals rivalry/series hasn't really had much "spice" since the Sam Wyche era. Mainly because the teams are rarely good at the same time.

Yesterday's Burrow TD pass may ignite something, but maybe it's just " a nothing" in the grand scheme of things. Maybe in a dismal season it's just another thing for me, as a fan, to get pissed about.

It's a shame that I care more about it than some of the players.

Damnit, looks like another run of 5-11 or worse coming up, and maybe that's optimistic.

I disagree and here's why:  The offsides makes them 5 yards closer to a FG with at least a 2 possession lead (score of 17-6) vrs a dysfunctional passing game that only attacked itself all day. There was slightly under 2 minutes left; and the difference between offensive production vrs dysfunction was already punctuated and pronounced.  It didn't need to be announced in junk-time where the win was never in jeopardy of being contested during the first 58 minutes.  Just eat the clock and kick the FG if need be.

As a fan I'll get over it; but I'm willing to bet some of our pass rushers won't feel the same way when future opportunities arise.  I still remember Nick Bosa being Baker's biggest nightmare when he had to QB the Browns against SF. Apparently, Baker planting Oklahoma's flag on Ohio State's field didn't sit well with Bosa; and he carried the hostility and motivation for revenge with him all the way to his first opportunity for payback at the next level.  I bought that example up just to illustrate players don't forget.

You still get pissed off?  I was literally laughing out loud at this team for the 10 minutes or so that I watched.  After said 10 minutes I decided to use my time more productively.

What's truly funny is that they look so incompetent with Watson and DTR.  But with Winston they look like studs outside his mental errors.

One thing about having Winston as the starter…we eliminate the need for a punter!
