Currently our 2025 first round pick is....

Stay ahead Vegas and NYG and maybe we can negotiate with both teams for Sanders. But he could easily fall to the Giants at 4.
Giants have Eagles next week SOS will go up.
So lose out and other games fall in line we are #3.
Pats and Titans firmly ahead of us with SOS factored in unless they win next week.

Correct- the only was to get a QB to Cleveland is an old re-hash with zero left or to draft a sucker who's career will be ruined here.

We lose next week and we are no worse than 4.
-
We have a slight shot at ruining Cam Wards career!
-
Say we stay at #3, who are we taking?
The expectation is Travis Hunter goes #1 because New England sticks with Drake Maye, the Titans will need a QB so they take Deion's punk kid, are we taking Cam Ward at #3?
Haven't watched much of Ward, how good of a prospect is he? I saw him in the news yesterday for playing the first half of Miami's game to break a TD record and then voluntarily sat the second half while his team lost. I get the injury concern, but come on you already played the first half for selfish reasons so can't finish the game for your team? I already don't like him.
And I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets/Giants trade up to #1 for a QB.

Its really hard to tell without knowing what the front office/head coach looks like.
If the Browns are on the clock and Ward is still available, I'd trade down. The Browns need to get younger and there's quite a few players I really like in the first round.

Nothing wrong with that, why risk getting injured for a meaningless game? It's not a playoff game. I would be more interested in his tape.

I get it, but he played the first half.
He got the record for most career college passing touchdowns and then got out, I believe.
-
I didn't watch a whole lot of Ward but it did seem like he had the 'it' factor. When the games came down to needing a score I recall him being able to drive down the field and score during multiple games.

Colorado was down 21-0 at half yesterday.
I'm not so sure this guy is what people think.

To be fair, his OLine is dogshit.
Could be.
We're all going to find out how good he really is by September/October '25

We lose next week and we are no worse than 4.

Assuming NE and Tenn lose I believe if we lose it is 3. The Giants have the Eagles if/when they lose the Eagles record is better than the Ravens so their SOS will be higher than our SOS.

It won't work out Bob lol
Hasn’t in my 54 years

One game left:
Browns - Ravens What we need: Obviously, to lose this game.
Patriots - Bills What we need: The Patriots to win. Unfortunately, the Bills are chasing a high scoring streak / record.
Titans - Texans What we need: The Titans to win.
Giants - Eagles What we need: The Giants to win.
At this point I'm not guessing at what the SOS will be after all of the games have been played. But even from where we are, if the Patriots secure the #1 spot, we are within range to trade up to the top to pick the QB. I'm not suggesting that we should. Or even could (politics being what they might be). I'm just saying that we are in the ball park. - And I'd have to assume that the Patriots would certainly be soliciting offers.

Giants will stay behind us if we both lose. Their SOS will go up next week playing the Eagles.
the best bargaining chip we have is staying ahead of them in the draft order.
we could screw it all up by going from 3 to 7 or 8 by winning
