Browns Have #2 Overall Draft Pick
-
I’ve never done one of these mock draft simulators before. Here’s my results.
I figure you gotta take the generational talent with the top pick if you can, right? So l went with Hunter.
I was happy to get Graham in round 2.
I went for Rourke from IU a couple picks later. He intrigues me, a tall traditional pocket passer type guy who was an Ohio Bobcat before transferring to IU for their best season in years.
I just tried to fill positions after that.

Oh, and isn't this just special:
good, keep his stupid ass away from the facilities

Here's my first attempt: (Yes, I traded down... waaay down but got who I was targeting)
#14 OT Kelvin Banks Jr. Texas
#33 TE Tyler Warren Penn State
#45 DE Landon Jackson Arkansas
#67 DT T.J. Sanders South Carolina
#80 WR Tez Johnson Oregon
#93 LB Lander Barton Utah
#103 DE Josaiah Stewart TTUN
#167 RB Trevor Etienne Georgia
#192 DT Ty Hamilton Ohio State
#206 QB Riley Leonard Notre Dame
#207 RB LeVeon Moss Texas A&M
#248 CB Robert Longerbeam RutgersI like the players picked with the grouping of 103, 167, 192, 206 great value in those four picks.
I don’t want this many picks and I’d prefer to parlay some of our 2025 picks to get into the 2,3,4 rounds in 2026 so we can have a package of picks ready to get our QB in 2026.

Yeah, I would too, but for the sake of actually playing the mock draft I didn't want to lose picks for the next draft ?

1. How in the hell did Mason Graham fall all the way to #33 in your mock? He was gone in the top 10 the two times I did it!
2. I like the Lachey pick. He's got some Ohio State ties, of course.

Oh, and isn't this just special:
Honestly at this point, good news for the Browns and Browns fans.
Any minute thought that just perhaps he might come back next season and be a viable starting candidate that might have been in the dark recesses of the Browns "brain trust" medulla oblongatas should have just disappeared, if they even existed at all.
Now the process of moving on will officially start now. I hope.

Oh, and isn't this just special:
Terrible news. I am certain that Watson the great can be the best Qb in the NFL Europe
-
Oh, and isn't this just special:
This (plus the firing of Ken Dorsey) may be the brain trusts informal admission that this experiment has been/is/and will continue to be, until the last penny of that contract is paid, an object failure AND that the organization is moving on.
They should just have him stay the hell away. He's made the easiest $138,000,000 in professional sports history. The Browns owe him $92,000,000 and nothing more.
The Browns also have a ~$44,000,000 insurance policy on the event he can't play in 2025 due to injury.
Legally/Contractually the guy will be paid by the Browns, but there is no need to have him around in 2025 or 2026.

Abject failure
Your word correction police (qualified by living with an English teacher for over 50 years-you should have sympathy for me). LOL!?

Abject was in my head. Object was either a fat finger or an autocorrect. I have no further excuses!

Could this be the worst stretch of Round 1 drafting in history? Or, would it be the "no picks" from the Watson trade?

That is some historically bad drafting. Total bed shitting. Probably explains why we went 1-15 in 2016 and 0-16 in 2017.

We went 1-31 in 2016-17 because we were tanking.
That record wasn't an accident.

It's typical of the Browns - they seem to draft over numbers, not the
heart of the guy, and how much he loves the game. So many mistakes they have made.
When they drafted Manziel, I was stunned by the stupidity. It was STUPID. I didn't like any of the qbs. And they drafted Justin Gilbert ahead of Kyle Fuller. Or they could
have drafted Aaron Donald. etc etc.
The mistakes by the Browns in the draft has become legendary.
But Manziel was #1 in this list: (note - it's azzhole hazzlams doing......
"The next two quarterbacks taken in the 2014 draft, Teddy Twatwater and Derek Carr, have both been to the Pro Bowl. Carr is entrenched as the Raiders starter and just took his team to the postseason. Manziel is gearing up for a second season with Fan Controlled Football.
What makes the drafting of Manziel worse is that Cleveland was initially in on Carr.
"They really love him. The feeling with many in football is that Cleveland will take Carr with its 26th pick," Mike Freeman wrote for Bleacher Report before the draft.
However, Franchise owner Jimmy Haslam, who took over the team in 2012, intervened. According to ESPN's Seth Wickersham, then-GM Ray Farmer traded up for Manziel instead of taking Bridgewater or Carr as a "concession" to the owner.
The result was one of the worst picks of the expansion-era Browns and another stop on Cleveland's path of passer purgatory."
-
so, the question is, WHAT in the HELL is WRONG WITH THIS DIRTBAG OWNER OF THE BROWNS?
