Haaretz is reporting the following. A lot could still go wrong, but this is promising. By my read, Trump is playing hardball with Israel in a way that the Biden administration could not.
Also, what a weird situation. Biden is the president and allowed Trump's envoy to negotiate on behalf of the US, but any results of these actions will be attributed to the Trump administration?

I hope Israel achieved their objectives to stop any future invasions, but time will tell.

This is infuriating. Biden had 15 months to apply pressure to Netanyahu, and he did nothing more than give hollow threats when this began. Trump comes along, threatens hell for Hamas, then puts Netanyahu in his place. Suddenly, a deal is done 5 days before his inauguration. This won't end the war. It'll stop the killing for a bit and will bring the hostages home. Hopefully some western journalists will be able to get in there and document the extent of the killing.

I also read it would have went a lot further had the animals controlled themselves when they stopped to rape and murder kids at a concert.
