Something I've said since that SuperBowl against the Pats - Goff is only as good as the talent you have around him. And when you have elite talent, he himself still won't be.

as for Daniel’s, a few QBs have looked good in a Klingsbury offense. Not saying he won’t be good after Kliff leaves, but we will see
He makes quick decisions for the most part, it's impressive.

He has been impressive. But Kingsbury has developed some great QBs and some not so great. But Daniel’s is off to a great start
Kingsbury was the offensive coordinator of the 2011 Houston Cougars that led the NCAA in nearly all offensive statistics that season, averaging 50 points and nearly 600 yards per game. He was later the head coach of Texas Tech (2013–2018) and the NFL's Arizona Cardinals (2019–2022). Kingsbury has been cited for his work in developing quarterbacks Case Keenum, Johnny Manziel, Baker Mayfield, Patrick Mahomes, Kyler Murray, Caleb Williams, and Jayden Daniels.

Goff didn't have his 'A' game. Skins were called for an imaginary facemask, which led to a TD. Bonehead pass by the Lions non QB. Somehow, no matter how many times you coach-up those non QB's, If he's not WIDE OPEN, then run with it or throw it out of bounds, they inevitably throw it even though the receiver is covered.
Worth noting, we've beaten the Skins several times...but now they have a QB. That's what it takes to contend for a championship. A QB. We won't contend for a championship until after we get one. - it's that simple -

I'm not sure who I felt worse for last night. Henry with his valiant efforts to bring them back in the 2nd half. Jackson for watching one of his 1st down completions fumbled away and then the dropped 2 point conversion. Or Andrews for fumbling once and then failing to catch the on the money pass for the two point conversion. That was so unlike the normally best TE in the business. I think he put his helmet back on to hide the shame of failing in the clutch twice.
Edit in the KC game Travis Kelce on the other hand redeemed himself for a very mediocre season by playing like.........................KELCE!
