  • He's busy fighting the globalists!

    By taking the Panama canal

    And making Canada a state

    And fighting cartels in Mexico

    And conquering Greenland

And taking over the Gaza strip to make it a resort

Don’t stop there, keep going, now with the accomplishments.

None of those things are mutually exclusive to nationalism. Control of the Panama Canal was advocated for by protectionists and globalists alike. The canal and a new Northwest Passage are far more strategically important to the well-being of Americans than Iraq and Afghanistan ever could. I'll concede that there's nothing protectionist about his Gaza proposal.

Zero chance we annex Canada and Greenland by force. Trump's interest in them tells you what he really believes about climate trends. More interestingly, NATO's Secretary General, who is a Dutchman, explicitly said "Trump is right" when it comes to defense of the Arctic from Russian and Chinese interests.

Panama... I wouldn't rule out forced annexation. People forget that we invaded it Desert Storm style, bombing the shit out of them after Noriega stopped providing any utility to the CIA. The Panamanian government seems to be playing ball after Trump's initial week of threats. Hopefully, soft power wins the day here.

His nonchalant suggestion to ethnically cleanse Gaza was hilarious, as noted by his Chief of Staff's reaction. Leavitt has already walked it back to "temporary relocation." Relocation of any kind is a nonstarter for the Arab allies and there's zero chance it happens. All of these things are Trump taking extreme opening statements as a negotiating tactic and using them to get concessions to something closer to the middle. He did the same thing his entire first term, and it's a big part of why his foreign policy was so successful. I'd take it all with a large grain of salt until a deal is actually made - remember, he started off antagonizing the head of a nuclear power and calling him "rocket man" and it ended with him being the first POTUS to be invited to NK in decades.

"Saying insane shit is all part of the strategy". Alright, let's just hope it doesn't turn into insane actions. Though we're at least at "crazy" and "ridiculous" actions right now.

You even conceded in there some of these actions don't exactly match the "we gotta fight the pedo elite deep states globalists!!!" crowd that blindly supports Trump. But, I mean, who cares about egg prices. They'll find a reason why invading Gaza makes sense for "Real America".

Also, I love the take that Trump is secretly completely understanding of the scientific consensus on climate change. A closet Greenpeace member, lol. He's going after Greenland and Canada because he realizes that will be prime real estate as the world continues to heat up, and even though he won't be around, he wants what's best for the country (or his Trump themed empire). Fucking hilarious.

But then again it's very similar to MAGA political figures railing against vaccines and medical professionals, to appease their idiotic base, while getting them and their families vaccinated immediately.

    Mexico caved

    Venezuela caved

    Canada panicking

    Mass deportations

    Hostages are home

    DEI programs ended

    Bureaucracy slashed

    FBI purges are underway

    USAID funding cancelled

    Gender ideology eliminated

DOGE already saved over a billion

    51 intel agents lost clearance

POTUS has some control over inflation, but not enough to outweigh the supply/demand problem being caused by the bird flu.

The feeling is mutual. Your post is equating international ambitions to globalism. And when I point out it's wrong and cite reasons why, you ignore 4 years of precedent and immediately jump to the worst-case scenario. It's tiresome.

When a huge mantra of your movement is "fighting the globalists" and action that is in fact the opposite of that is more than just a "worse case scenario". I wasn't here screaming "fight the globalists!" so I don't really care what globalist things Biden or the Dems did. This is more about exercise of pointing out hypocrisy. Something I feel will come up frequently he next four years.

Biden's actions specifically worsened inflation to its peak when he decided to cut the world's leading producer of fertilizers out of the Western economy. Trump kickstarted the supply chain issues with the COVID shutdowns and it's a huge part of why he lost in 2020. The egg prices now are Trump's responsibility, but attributing that inflation to tariffs that were in effect for less than 12 hours sure looks silly when the bird flu is tearing through the chicken population.

Fyi, I know Trump hasn't caused the egg prices to go up. Again, it's pointing out hypocrisy.

Of course, for all of his comments during the campaign, you could argue it's worth criticizing any inaction he takes or any action he takes that results in increasing prices.

But right, obviously Trump hasn't single handedly caused egg prices to increase in just two weeks in office.

It's another method of pointing out the hypocrisy shown by this administration and it's loyal followers. The "I did that!" sticker. Just playing the game by the rules established.

I would argue Biden did in fact, "do that" to gas prices with his foreign and domestic policy. On the foreign policy side, he cut off Russian oil from the western economy and funded a war that shut down the fastest shipping lane for oil from the Persian Gulf to Europe and the Eastern Seaboard of the US, and (allegedly) ordered the destruction of the NordStream 2 pipeline. On the domestic policy side, he stopped construction of the Keystone pipeline and stopped new contracts for drilling in the Gulf of Mexico America. Having both of those would have been helpful to mitigate the drop in supply caused by his foreign policy decisions. So instead, he emptied our strategic petroleum reserve to keep gas prices down. His actions are indefensible, and a direct correlation can be drawn to the inflation during his term.

    But you’re not being fair.

As you yourself made note of it, Trump has been in office only 2 weeks, yet you blather about hypocrisy and such as if he deserves the same criticism as Biden at this early stage of the game.

I know you’ve been chomping at the bit to commence bashing Trump. But you gotta give it a couple months. Show some restraint.
