    Oscar's 2025

Just a quick rundown of some of the frontrunners, I didn't see any of the foreign language films so my personal opinion probably won't hold much weight this year. As far as the frontrunners?

Best Supporting actress: Zoe Saldana for AMELIA PEREZ, didn't see it. Second best chance Ariana Grande for WICKED she deserves it.

Best Supporting actor: Karen Culkin for A REAL PAIN, didn't see it. Long shot Guy Pearce for THE BRUTALIST or Edward Norton for A COMPLETE UNKNOWN. I'd be happy with Guy Pierce but I could live with Norton.

Best actress: best odds go to Demi Moore for THE SUBSTANCE. I like her she works hard and she was naked for most of the movie, but I'd rather see Cynthia Erivo for WICKEDNESS. I would like to see Ariana Grande but she only got nominated for best supporting, not sure why.

Best actor: best odds Adrian Brody for THE BRUTALIST I'm good with that but I can see Timothee Chalamet for A COMPLETE UNKNOWN

Best director: Sean Baker for ANORA. Didn't see it. Second favorite odds wise Brady Corbett for THE BRUTALIST. I could live with that.

Like the song says don't bet what you can't bear to lose. See you at Sardi's.

I liked A Complete Unknown  - but it didnt matter because i dont remember seeing an "under represented person / people group"  portrayed in it.

BiSexu Hispanic Jewish characters plus a gigantic tip of the hat to the Civil Rights Movement. Hollywood loves that s***.

At least there was nobody going to hit someone as prefer mundane awards show over "the slap heard around the world!" Really wished Demi Moore won Best Actress and Ralph Fiennes is long overdue an Oscar!
