Nobody else was capable of doing what Musk does... He is light years ahead of NASA and Bezos... I have friends that were/are scientists and project managers that worked decades for NASA.. Even with all of their govt. funding of NASA  still can't keep up with SpaceX.. Musk is undertaking Mars while NASA is still sending rovers and probes in our little neck of Space.. That's cute... But although the idea we could escape this planet seems fascinating that we could somehow preserve human existence is a nice romantic thought.... It is not feasibly possible IMHO to out smart nature... It doesn't take much for the Earth to wiggle her ass and shake us all off like ticks and fleas... But I think we'll blow ourselves up long before that happens... Somehow I think it's just hard wired into our DNA... I mean just look at our politicians on both sides of the aisle.. Our own chaotic behavior is proof of that.. Supporting Trump and what Musk is doing just makes more sense and is the much lesser of the evils of the Liberal clowns that have no clear path to anything... Whether or not we want to accept it... Humanity and all things that have lived and died have a shelf life... Even despite my faith in God I can at least accept that as a strong possibility... We're all on this ride until we reach the last port of call.. The only thing that is guaranteed in life are taxes...... And death! ??

Biden could have used SapceX as well but didn't want to make Trump look good since Musk is his buddy.

TDS prevented him from helping American citizens stuck in space, setting a poor example for all the sheep like woody.
