I get it, Trump is all about leaverage and consequence, but we're talking about spending.  I think Massey is the best guy in the entire legislature since Ron Paul left office.  If Trump really intends on cutting spending long term, Massey is going to back him on almost everything, especially DOGE.  And to be fair, Trump has his least success with spending bills (and due process).  I think these guys will be fine after a couple Shirley Temples.

    Great quote:

"POTUS is spending his day attacking me and Canada," Massie wrote. "The difference is Canada will eventually cave."

“It is impossible to get a man to understand something if his livelihood depends on him not understanding.”

Massie is just a grandstander. He says he voted "no" because it didn't cut the deficit enough. Well, it's just an extension til sept to keep the government open, stupid massie.

"whaaaaa, rome wasn't built in a day I vote no".

      what an ass.

I wish the Democrats had enough balls to shut down the government.

The big cash prize winners here is the Pentagon.  So you have to ask yourself how will this benefit the country?  If your number one issue right now is terror groups on the other side of the world than you are probably happy with this bill.  I don't happen to think it's an unimportant issue, but eventually we have to focus more on here or domestically the dams will break.  And that's way more frightening to me.
