    • is Sashi inj the building again?
    • fire Depodesta already

And for me fire depo is automatic for just about everything.

Exactly.  They drafted him.  And we saw that Winston wasn't and isn't the answer.  I actually felt that they should've gone to DTR earlier than they did.  Winston however, was very entertaining.....for our side, for the other side, and for the media.

One of the very QB’s in the league that can throw for 400-500 yards in a game…and still walk away with the “L”.

  • I’m so looking forward to a completely new QB room in 2025

This is such a telling statement.

You don't need to know anything else about the team to know that it's a losing team.  A non playoff contender.

And if they let Rees be the OC he is capable of being - that'll be refreshing as well.

True. Not trying to win any arguments here - I'm just trying to turn a light on for a second.

It's also nice to know this team is only 1 year removed from an 11 win season despite enduring QBs like PJ Walker, Jeff Driskel, DTR, and fan fave DeShaun Watson before the Browns signed Joey Bottaflacco during that 11 win season.  The Browns did all that mostly with 2 backup Offensive Tackles (1 was unemployed prior to filling in at LT), no Nick Chubb for 14 games, and other guys missing starters missing starts here and there.  Sometimes we forget we still had/have some good veterans suiting up like (Teller, Bitonio, Pocic'em, Njoku, Garrett, Ward).  I know we lost Cooper (who's still unsigned); while Jerry Jeudy is coming off a good year regardless of the QB situation. Losing JOK and Tomlinson will hurt.

All that said, drafting near the tippy top of every round is quite an opportunity for this FO to replace a few departed starters while free agency is showing us we already upgraded LT (before we learn by how much that is). That's 1 HELL of a position to blow off if you want to protect any major investment at QB. Spilled milk; but let's stop waiting 5 years to clean that up when we see an empty inner chest eh?  We also have some 2nd and 3rd year guys ready to step in for more significant roles if needed.

Let's hope Rees has a significant say in this QB search with the criteria he needs fulfilled in order to be successful with the QB position/situation as well as his position as OC. This draft is a GREAT opportunity for the Browns.

Tommy Rees is looking for a "surgeon" type QB which is what I have been screaming for since Bill gave Bernie the boot.. To me that spells Cam Ward or Jaxon Dart.... If Ward isn't there.. Trade back.. take Dart.. Or.. Take Hunter... and hope Dart is there at 33... Not saying thats what I want... Just saying what I think the Browns might be thinking.. You have to at least entertain that scenario(s)... As we know with the Browns anything is possible... We have witnessed the twilight zone move to Baltimore to the Outer Limits of Bottlegate... Stuff has happened in Cleveland , Hollywood execs couldn't dream up... Take enough Acid... Maybe... Refer to Tim Leary on that one lol...

Who knows what's in store for us this time.  I don't mind trading back as long as they don't reach on guys with the mentality - "Yeah, we're just gonna coach em up!"  Ok yeah?  They're gonna fire you coaches as their scapegoats for their bad drafting.   I'm hoping for the best QB - I can only guess.  It's between Sanders & Ward.

It may turn out not to be that way (looking back after a few years)....but it's the way it looks right now.

  • This is class. . .

    Dear Cleveland,

I’m so happy and grateful for everything we experienced together this past year. From day one, you welcomed my family and me with open arms — and for that, I’m forever thankful.

To the Dawg Pound: you were electric. Snow or shine, highs or lows, your energy never wavered. You reminded us all what loyalty, passion, and community really look like.

This year was one of growth, service, and adaptability — not just for me personally, but for my family as well. And Cleveland, you played a major role in that. The spirit of this city, the heart of its people, and the bond we’ve built will always be with us.

One moment I’ll never forget — beating the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football in what turned out to be the most iconic snow game in NFL history. The energy, the emotion, the unity — we all felt it. That night was Cleveland at its finest.

To the amazing men and women who make this city special: thank you. You’ve made a lasting impact on our lives, helping us rise to a greater calling — one rooted in unity, service, and love.

Wishing you continued blessings, prosperity, and nothing but the best.

    With deep gratitude,

    Jameis Winston

  • Nobody ever said that he wasn't a great guy.

And yes, that Steeler beating touchdown in the snow that he scored is special beyond words.
