It was the Johnny Manziel draft that pushed me over the edge. How embarrassing is that?
I had lurked here for years before that. This place was a solid source of news and insight, and there was a cast of characters that were rough and tumble and zany and fun.
It was intimidating to join. But I finally did when we drafted Johnny Football. It was an exciting time, and it mostly sucked and it was a decade ago.
Social media has blown up exponentially in that time, and who joins message boards anymore? I don’t know, but here we are.
The only requirement to join is be a Browns fan. We wholeheartedly understand your troubles .Or you can not be a Browns fan and you’ll get what you get.

Excellent post my friend. I finally got around to updating the site even though I have no idea what that changes. Anyway like I said I okayed a bunch of new guys so hopefully they will all become worthwhile contributors. Any of you new guys read this do me a favor say hi to the fellas and tell us a little bit about yourselves. Thanks
Personally I don't care if you are a fan of another team and want to post, just accept this heads up: you are going to get a raft of s*** from the Browns fans, and even though I might be somewhat sympathetic, you are on your own so don't b**** to the administration. Welcome aboard.

I joined back in 2009, but never posted. No longer live in LA. I’m in West Texas now. Looking forward to the season and am excited about having Flacco back and that we finally have high draft picks.

I could be wrong, but after reading this I looked at my own profile and it appears you can change everything about your profile EXCEPT you screen name... I would guess you'd need a moderator to do that, but to be honest after the death of the active mod last year, not sure who you'd talk to.

I'm a huge OSU fan and I also root for ND. I've been a Browns fan since Blanton Collier(1968) was head coach, Indians fan since 1968 and Cavs fan since their very beginning. I'm a long time Browns season ticket holder and hope to hang around long enough to at least witness the Browns in the SB. I've witnessed 5 NFL/AFC championships but all of those came in my first 20 years of fandom.

Welcome to the Boards. I’ve been a Browns fan since the Kardiac Kids days. The first Browns game I ever watched was the Minnesota game (I think in 1980) where they lost on a Hail Mary from Tommy Kramer to Ahmad Rishad at the end.
Hoping to see some exciting Browns football this year.
