Your immediate response was to poke at the legitimacy of polls. And, historically, the right wingers on this board have attacked the credibility of any poll they don't like since 2016.

If you aren't attacking the accuracy of the poll, and you recognize the legitimacy of the results, then my mistake. But your first post was not giving that indication

  • baloney, woodpecker, it's you who have dissed every single media source, every poll you don't like.

' "Much of that change was driven by Democrats, 35 percent of whom sympathized with the Palestinians in the latest poll, compared to 27 percent in the late January survey. Indeed, 60 percent of Republicans in the latest survey said they sympathized more with Israelis — about the same share as in January. Sixty-seven percent of Republicans also said Trump’s support for Israel in the Israel-Hamas war has been “about right,” signalling they approve of his approach so far. In comparison, 12 percent of Democrats and 25 percent of independents said the same — with larger shares saying Trump has been “too supportive of Israel.” '

Are you calling the pew data I posted fake?

Another example of cal posting a link and not reading it. Or maybe you did and you just can't follow along. Maybe you need some right wing blogger on red state feeding you propaganda every other sentence. Either way, this doesn't support you near as much as you think, as it shows building views critical of Trump and Israel, and references polls two months older than what I posted above.

Arguing with you about math and Israel is a bad combination, too of your weaknesses, so this obviously isn't going anywhere.

A growing share of Americans are souring on Israel and their continued genocide of Palestinians. You can want that not to be true, but the polls and data are clear.

New polling by our firm, Schoen-Cooperman research, conducted on behalf of the Israel on Campus Coalition, reveals that even after 16 months of war, Americans firmly support Israel’s right to defend itself.

His post didn’t indicate he was questioning its legitimacy either, so yeah your mistake.

Ive never been contacted by a pollster, so when these polls came up I used to ask myself the same question.

Firstly, an unfavorable view of Israel does not mean that Israel has done anything wrong.

Secondly, those with an unfavorable view of Israel have typically accepted Palestinian Arab falsehood propaganda against Israel, without first verifying if the allegations made against Israel are valid or not.
When are allegations against Israel not valid? When the allegations are asserted devoid of any objective evidence.

Thirdly, the survey does make it clear that views on Israel are different between Democrats and Republicans.

I have posted to a different website all the main "Palestinian" Arab falsehood-propaganda against Israel, together with a brief rebuttal.
Anyone can use my first post to that Thread to search any specific allegation about which they are concerned, and see a brief answer to it.
Last time I looked at that thread, it had about 26,000 views (and for one year of that Thread's existence, the website's View-counter had been disabled).

    The Jews / Israel:
2.3) Were “given” the land: by the Allies following WW2 / by the United Nations, because of the Holocaust:

The Jews were not “given” any land. The WW2 Allies did NOT re-establish Israel.
The United Nations proposed a Partition Plan (two-state solution) under resolution 181, but while accepted by the then Palestinian Jewish Community it takes both parties to constitute any agreement. Instead, in 1947 to 1948 the Arabs started a civil war not only to oppose and instead take ALL the land of Israel, but also to ethnically-cleanse or murder the Jews. The more the Arabs persisted in attacking the Jewish community, the more militarized the previously peaceful Jewish community became, resulting in a force capable of defending a new state.

Israel was Re-established not because of the Holocaust, but because the land of Israel is the ancestral-homeland of the Jewish people - See links for: “Demographic history” and for the Hasmonean kingdom in 2.1) above.

    FY56, you asked:
"from where is the anti Israeli propaganda obtained?":
An Internet search gains returns of example falsehood assertions about Israel and the Jewish people, but essentially the answer is: from about 8 years experience rebutting Palestinian Arab falsehood propaganda on the now defunct Yahoo Answers, and from researching for that debunking, which tended also to reveal how prevalent are particular examples of the falsehood-propaganda.

Its also quite easy for anyone to see the difference between genuine-criticism and anti-Israel/anti-Semitic falsehood:
Palestinian Arab falsehood against Israel is characterized by being asserted devoid of any objective evidence in support!
