Fox Sports Goat of the Week: Eric Mangini

[bonedawg]

Fox Sports does this lame Guy/Goat of the week thing and I am proud to say our very own Eric Mangini is a Goat this week. From the article:

"Goat: Eric Mangini, Browns head coach

Wouldn't it be great if the great Cleveland fans could fine Mangini?"

Hey! Fox Sports thinks we are great!

[Kosar_For_President]

I think I just changed my mind, FOX?

[Gips]

He should be goatman of the week every week until he is relieved of his career hopefully sooner as opposed to later.....

[Dave]

The post says "fire" Mangini, the Fox article says "fine" Mangini. Just sayin...

nice catch man, I guess that was just wishful thinking on my part fixed

[Squintz]

It's not Mangini.

It's the guy who HIRED Mangini.

BEFORE he hired a GM.

Who also hired Romeo.

And Phil.

And extended their contracts.

Like he did with Butch.

And gave full football control to Butch and then Phil.

Geeze.....

I think Squintz hit the nail on the head. I think our owner is clueless when it comes to football operations and what it takes to make a program competitive again. He's been here since '99 and things have been a mess since then. It drives me nuts to see programs with 1st year coaches that are competing. What we saw sunday was a team that had quit on its coach 3 weeks into the season.
