Bond Kid from Texas - Will Be a Brown

If Ray Lewis can get into the Hall of Fame after killing someone, the NFL's good for anyone who can commit a crime or be accused of one and get off. Let's be real about the people who are willing to have their heads smashed in weekly. Plus it's amplified when the alleged perps are black, I didn't hear anything on mainstream media about Justin Tucker essentially doing the same crap as Watson to the team's masseuses.

The Houston Texans wrote the perfect story about how to wiggle out of a problem, and it's sickening. I hate them almost as much as Baltimore, Pittsburgh, & Denver.

I'd definitely join you Bob if Stroud & Chubb weren't there. That's almost as frustrating as watching college players we rooted for getting drafted by Pittsburgh or Baltimore. After Pittsburgh drafted Jack Sawyer in round 4 Tomlin said "Sawyer had Steelers DNA." I think I'd rather stub both big toes than hear something like that...

I just cannot wrap my head around how the Texans got off scott-free when they paid for the hotel rooms for DW.
Yes, DW did the deeds. The Texans knew. It wasn't a problem until he refused to play.
I wasn't a fan of that trade, but DW got railroaded by Houston, & the Browns served the entire punishment. Just my opinion.

I'm pretty sure the reason Nickers posts this stuff is because he's actually attracted to black women but is still resisting it. Halle Berry, hubba hubba, amirite?
I'm not entirely sure this Bond guy will actually do anything - he was supposed to be the #1 draft pick but ended up not even the #1 option on 2024 Texas, and the TE might have had better stats. Sure, adjust for Ewers being barely functional, but he could also just be another 5'11 180# track guy posing as a football player.

'Out On' Bond is here. With guaranteed millions.
Well, we are joined with a mutual need. He needed a team, we need a receiver. He's going to need to get to studying and learning, Fast. He needs to steal reps from Thrash...who had a good camp so far. Jamari Thrash is a guy I've been pulling for. ( Tillman also, because he's such a willing blocker for the running game )

AGREED! Yeah that sucked; because all DW's off the field incidents took place when he was their franchise QB. Then again, when 30 other teams refused to compete for Watson - nobody had a gun pointed at our Owner and his FO. There was an evaporated market for Watson; so their willingness to give up what they did for him via contract and trade was on them completely.
When you get right down to it - they he was the answer to 100% of their prayers. When Watson got here - it was like nobody here knew a FREAKIN thing about him. It was like they never watched an ounce of film of the guy so all the way into season #3 - they were still firing and hiring offensive coaches to implement a compatible system fit. Gee, how did this guy make 3 Pro Bowls and lead a team like the Texans to 2 post seasons in the short body of work he suited up in?
I still ask the question what was it specifically that made them give up everything to get him? If they honestly and truly knew this - they would have had a compatible offensive design for whatever they felt long before they were still designing the offense in season 3. And we wonder why they're never able to develop young QBs under this owner. Do you think Josh Allen would have had the success here that Buffalo enabled (understanding growing pains are inevitable for all young guys (right Troy Aikman?) There was a bunch Cowboys fans living probably living too close for comfort to @texasag1969 that thought Steve Walsh was their guy when Aikman was going through growing pains. Once the surrounding talent arrived - Aikman played his way into the Hall of Fame. This OWNER & his chosen ones in the FO would have probably cut a stud like Josh Allen while Buffalo understood the process from identifying what specifically made him GOTTA HAVE. This franchise doesn't suck at developing young QBs by accident. Therefore, it's no surprise they made fools of themselves with the entire Watson thing. When you think about it all - it only made sense that an unemployed 38 year old QB Joe Flacco would join this team after Watson and both our OTs landed on IR - and lead this team from hopeless to playoffs with an 11-5 record.

Bond was given a 3 year $3mil guaranteed contract, a record for UDFA.

It’s a bargain if he turns out to be a stud.
