Huntley/Zappe on practice squad is not really much of a difference
True, except Huntley was privy to our playbook for this season. And now he's on the Rats.
BEING A BROWNS FAN IS A TEST TO SEE HOW MUCH YOU CAN TAKE -
Practice squad signings:
- TE Sal Cannella
- WR Kaden Davis
- S Christopher Edmonds
- DT Ralph Holley
- CB LaMareon James
- DT Sam Kamara
- RB Ahmani Marshall
- DE Julian Okwara
- RB Trayveon Williams

Another way to look at it is Huntley was only here for about 2-3 weeks knowing the Browns weren't going to keep him anyway. I doubt he's leaving here thinking he has to stick it to the Browns. If anything, it helped remind the Ravens why they liked him as a back up for LJ.
FWIW, the Browns also had Huntley in training camp last year until final cuts in August.

then why not just keep him instead of bringing in zappe ?

I walked right into that one Syd! I guess it's because we're getting good at paying Huntley money to attend training camp only to give him back to the Rats for the start of the regular season 2 years in a row.
While we're at it, why trade a 5th round pick for Kenny Pickett only to trade him away for a 5th round pick before the season even starts? That's a lot of work to maintain a 5th round pick.

“We’ve signed WR Luke Floriea to the practice squad and released DE K.J. Henry from the practice squad,” the Browns announced.
...many here liked him during TC. Was a shame he pulled his hammy while making a one hand catch for Sheduer in preseason.

That was the play of the preseason. Glad he’s back on the saddle.

...not into country...but that's a cool one! Makes me wanna go downstairs, fire up the PS3, and take a Vette out on Daytona in Gran Turismo 6.

Or my wife's AWD Subaru Crosstrek out on a dirt track with lots of hills and bumps like moto-X.
