It's the Haslam Family & Friends Show. That's what Stef & Berry have to contend with.
Bill Parcells said it best. "If you want me to cook the meal - you should at least let me buy the groceries."
-
Good for Baker. Doesn't mean much to me though.
As a Bucs and Browns fan, it does to me

TAMPA, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are signing former Florida Gators 400+ pound defensive tackle Desmond Watson to their practice squad, a source confirmed to ESPN on Tuesday.
Watson had worked out for the Bucs last week and the team was encouraged by what they saw in terms of his physical progress. Coach Todd Bowles emphasized that Watson wasn't being brought in simply because the team is playing the Philadelphia Eagles, with their noted tush push, this week."

Interesting - should be another great game to watch.

Can the Bucs Run on Philly? | Eagles-Bucs Tale of the Tape
The Buccaneers' rushing attack ranks seventh in the NFL through three games while the Eagles' run defense ranks 25th, but the presence of Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis could still make it difficult to gain yards between the tackles"

If memory serves me right Jordan Davis ran a 4.8 or 4.9 forty at the combines but you might want to fact check me on that. When he blocked a FG then scooped it up and ran last Sunday vrs the Rams - he took it about 50 yards and pulled further away from all those chasing.

yep, they will miss Evans in the lineup - but Godwin and Wirfs may be back.
Eagles may be without their top two cb's.

btw, I think the Browns will shut down the run a lot vs Detroit, but
we'll see what else goes on.

Kudos and credit to the Bucs, and Baker, with being 3-0 considering some of injury challenges they have faced.
That said, they have need come backs in all three games against teams with a combined 1-8 record.

The Bucs get a Charmin Soft schedule every single year, apparently.

I'm sure you know everything I'm gonna point out but I don't think a lot of people realize how GREAT Mike Evans is. When Evans missed 3 games last year - the Bucs lost all 3 games. That's not just a coincidence IMO - it's a reality of how irreplaceable he is. This future 1st ballot Hall of Famer is a very athletic 6'5" with a wing span that covers 2 area codes. He's good enough to have made Johnny Blutarsky Jr (Manziel) look sober enough to win the Heisman Trophy and beat Nick Saban's team in Alabama. Also good enough in tandem with Chris Godwin to have helped Jameis Winston throw 33 TD passes and exceed 5000 yards passing in 1 season. Unfortunately, they couldn't find an Exorcist to prevent the 30 INTs from Jameis that same year. Evans shouldn't really be the secret of Brady's & Mayfield's success in Tampa. All of the matchup dynamics on the perimeter start with him usually having the advantage against the #1 corner he's facing. Once Godwin gets healthy they'll have him and Egbuka to pick up any slack from the loss of Evans to his current hammy injury.
Here's his 2024 stats - showing the results of the 3 games without him as well as why he needed their final regular season game to go over 1000 yards receiving. Makes sense - because he did it in 14 games. Another thing about those 3 games is they only averaged 23.3 points a game in that span; but they averaged 30.86 points when Evans played.
I welcome the only Defensive Coordinator to earn a Superbowl Ring in New Orleans while understanding Revenge of the Nerds is a sequel. "Come get some!" -
I hope Wirfs plays. Not having Evans hurts, but Mayfield can get the ball to several different players. Should be plenty of excitement in this game.

"Prior to that, the last Bucs-Eagles get-together was in the postseason. After winning the NFC South for a third consecutive time in 2023, the Buccaneers opened their playoff run with a home game against the Eagles in the Wild Card round. The home team won handily, rushing out to a quick 13-0 lead and cruising to a 32-9 final. Mayfield threw for 337 yards, three touchdowns and a 119.8 passer rating, completing passes to nine different players. The Bucs' defense limited the Eagles to 276 total yards and didn't allow a single third-down conversion in nine attempts."

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week Four, 31-25. Both Bucky Irving and Emeka Egbuka eclipsed the 100-yard receiving mark and Baker Mayfield completed 22 of 40 attempts for 289 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
Following the Bucs' opening offensive possession, Riley Dixon's punt was blocked by Cameron Latu and recovered by Sydney Brown at the Tampa Bay 36-yard line and returned for a Philadelphia touchdown."
