For the haters

He came out the same year as Carson Wentz, right?
Yes. Hue Jackson liked Goff...and not Wentz so much. So, that was kind of a red flag there...'cuz Hue was a QB dope. But Goff turned out to be worthy.

what was that? super and tiam were "very tight ends" at an
lgbqtzwxy college?
No, it wasn't Baker Mayfield's fault that that punt got blocked.
btw, super and tiam wanted to give Matt Leinart great big smoochies for being "the best pocket passer NFL ready qb" in that draft.
ha haha.
the hate never ends.

Could you imagine how hilarious it would be if someone cal talked shit to on-line ever ran into him in person?
Without a doubt he'd piss his pants then throw himself on the ground and curl up in the fetal position sobbing uncontrollably.
And man alive, could he be any more of a closeted gay like most MAGA fucktards? ?

The Bucs are too banged up.
I'm sure you know everything I'm gonna point out but I don't think a lot of people realize how GREAT Mike Evans is. When Evans missed 3 games last year - the Bucs lost all 3 games. That's not just a coincidence IMO - it's a reality of how irreplaceable he is. This future 1st ballot Hall of Famer is a very athletic 6'5" with a wing span that covers 2 area codes. He's good enough to have made Johnny Blutarsky Jr (Manziel) look sober enough to win the Heisman Trophy and beat Nick Saban's team in Alabama. Also good enough in tandem with Chris Godwin to have helped Jameis Winston throw 33 TD passes and exceed 5000 yards passing in 1 season. Unfortunately, they couldn't find an Exorcist to prevent the 30 INTs from Jameis that same year. Evans shouldn't really be the secret of Brady's & Mayfield's success in Tampa. All of the matchup dynamics on the perimeter start with him usually having the advantage against the #1 corner he's facing. Once Godwin gets healthy they'll have him and Egbuka to pick up any slack from the loss of Evans to his current hammy injury.
Here's his 2024 stats - showing the results of the 3 games without him as well as why he needed their final regular season game to go over 1000 yards receiving. Makes sense - because he did it in 14 games. Another thing about those 3 games is they only averaged 23.3 points a game in that span; but they averaged 30.86 points when Evans played.

Per the bolded paragraph above - check out the final score the Bucs lost by on Sunday to Philly: 31-25. Their average point total when Evans didn't play last year was 23.3. Within 2 points of the average and they couldn't win again without Evans the 4th consecutive time Evans couldn't play in the last 2 years...

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about or where Matt Leinart comes into this conversation.
I was 16 when he was drafted, still playing high school ball. These are insane ramblings and connected to nothing, you're welcome to those ramblings.
But if I see more of this ...
what was that? super and tiam were "very tight ends" at an

cal, you quoted him as saying he hated Leinert and then say his best pocket passer (Leinert) did apologize.
Wake up and smell the coffee because those two things are 180 degrees off from one another.
Oh, I know the cal-child still likely has me on ignore, but it still needs to be pointed out by a person with no dog in this fight.

Bucky Irving is out for an extended period with a significant ankle injury. Fantasy players take note - unless they are playing me. lol
Can Baker Mayfield, also banged up, lead the Bucs to another win?
"According to Greg Auman of Fox Sports, Bucky Irving had crutches and a walking boot on his left foot during Wednesday’s walkthrough practice. Auman notred the “focus” is on backup RBs Rachaad White and Sean Tucker for the Week 5 road tilt against the Seattle Seahawks."
"The Bucs are still without star wide receiver Mike Evans for multiple weeks after he suffered a hamstring injury in Week 3 against the New York Jets. All-Pro offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs (knee) and star wideout Chris Godwin (ankle) made their season debuts against Philly."
"
There’s no replacing the talents of a borderline top-10 running back like Irving, but the Buccaneers are fortunate to have one of the league’s deepest RB rooms.
In his one season as Tampa’s full-time starting running back (2023), Rachaad White logged 990 rushing yards, 1,539 yards from scrimmage and nine total touchdowns. Though Irving took over as the RB1 last year, White still had 1,006 rushing yards and nine touchdowns.
As Tampa’s No. 3 running back last year, Sean Tucker was no slouch with 308 rushing yards, two touchdowns and 417 yards of offense. Tucker and White are more than capable of keeping the ground game going if Irving is out for an extended period."
-
At the final score. And you could probably look up Mayfield's nearly successful come back Drive. Of course that would take some of the glow off the Eagles victory, you still have Haslam Watson deepesta yada yada yada. You go girl.
WSS
The bad Int Baker threw in the EZ late in the 4th killed it. The Bucs should have won that game..

The Bucs are now 0-4 in the last 2 years without Mike Evans. Evans won a Super Bowl when he had a better QB.

This makes it sound like things were going good before that INT.
Baker missed big on his first 2 3rd down conversions that brought up old ghosts - checking into boundary throws and missing open receivers elsewhere to keep the chains moving. I mentioned this very thing as far back at Nov 2021 here... 3rd line down.

Motion to quads and Philly was short a DB to this side. Pitch and catch...
This is Godwin on a follow concept. Something I ripped Jaxson Dart for missing this past weekend. It's a high percentage throw...
This is a habit he's had since he has been in the league. Only he lacked the physical dominance of Mike Evans to turn these into catches this game.
Baker was leading the entire NFL in turnover worthy throws before playing Philly. You saw the bomb to E double, the only *should* I saw this game was that *should* have been another INT. But that's Baker in a nutshell. He'll rip it and you'll live with the consequences, be it good or bad. Sometimes it's great, other times he digs an early hole and fights to get out, or makes the hole even deeper.
This game actually *should* have been a blowout. But PHI built a lead and patiently sat on the ball.
3 of the next 4 games Baker has a favorable schedule defensively. This Saturday against SEA might get dicey. Per the usual, wait for the market to overcorrect and the hype train to start again, then you can look at TB to not cover.
