    Going back to 2024:

The Browns have scored 17 points or fewer in 11 straight games.

The Browns have scored 17 points or fewer in 19 out of 23 games.

How did we get caught with our pants down on offensive line and wide receiver this year? After last year, they knew those positions had to be addressed and did nothing. I guess the counterargument is we had so many positions of need that it was just best available, but this is just deja vu to 2024. No QB, no o-line, Jeudy is more like a number 2 WR - he ain't no #1.

I like how you asked pointed questions and then gave counterarguments.  🙂

It seems that we go into every season with a position group where 'we think' (they think) that the players that we have for the position are going to be good...like it's their 2nd or 3rd year and they're going to play like the vets they are.  And then we get into the season and it becomes clear that the guys we have are not that good.  Then it's a fire drill.  We've seen this with the interior defensive line, the WR's (still the WR's) and now (and last year) the OL.  Obviously, thinking that Dewand Jones was an answer is not going to be true.

Or Cedric Tillman at WR apparently.

The thing that sucks about Tillman and Jones is that they showed when healthy they have talent. We know a healthy Jones is a starting caliber right tackle. Guy on one leg owned TJ Watt. Tillman prior to the concussion was coming on...

Yup...but that and a quarter gets ya a gumball.  And we're not even certain about Tillman.  He hasn't really progressed beyond a 1 or 2 catch per game receiver for us (although a good run support guy).  In theory, Tillman might be back to play in some of the season but he'll be so far out of the groove that in reality he's pushed back to next season to show off his blossoming...should there be any blossoming to happen.

Priority #1 for the offseason is ALWAYS going to be QB...until we have a good one in place.  Priority #2 is our OL.  It is the Higgs Boson Field of the offense.  (it gives the skilled players mass ... or the ability to utilize the skilled players' talents)    Butch Davis (whom I didn't like) put it best, "Until we fix the OL, nothing will change."

There's quite a few QBs that will declare for the draft, but there aren't many that seem even close to worth the Browns top pick.

Which is pretty much contrary to the thinking of last year (regarding this year's crop).  We have two 1st round picks.  If we don't use both on a QB (of which current thinking is we won't have to) then one of them had better be for an offensive tackle able to step in and play.   And THEN, we'll need a Guard that can step in and play.  And perhaps before the end of the draft one more of each.  Of course there's still the hypothetical that we won't need a QB at all, in which case we can work a WR in there somewhere.

Maan, I hate talking draft in October...again.

Yeah I've been in Stefanski's corner but the offense looks like a Div 3 college offense. Horrible.

I listened in my truck, it wasn't exciting. Can't imagine how it looked on tv.

OL was not good.  Neither HC, Gabriel, nor Judkins could make up for the OL Tackle play.   It was ugly.

Not aiming this at you - it's just an ideal place to post this. 100% neglect at OT - and I'm not accepting how much more important it was to draft a 2nd RB this year or a 2nd QB (with 0 intentions on playing him and half/most of the guys in the draft room not wanting him).  Can't have it like it's okay we didn't draft any OTs this year because we like our draft.  THIS was the time to try to solidify at least 1 of our broken edges - no more pretending.  And we want a franchise QB to be protected with 2 broken edges?  Good luck getting any top QB prospect interested in wanting him some Cleveland Browns with this situation; or what got them to this situation overall.

As fate would have it, in round 5 the Giants drafted Purdue OT Marcus MBow with intentions to play him. What they didn't realize while their LT Andrew Thomas was injured during the first few weeks - a guy that only played RT (and some OG earlier on) in college could start at LT be be efficient enough for acknowledgement and praise from a former NFL Lineman like Brian Baldinger. Did the Browns even know he existed? Here's a video in the link below narrated by Baldy.

Well said, but the part I bolded was before the 1st of 3 consecutive IR visits.  Now, it's "can't bend, barely moves but willing to hold to save his QB in danger again."  In other words, he's a good kid though...

I do at least half of the cooking and I do my own laundry thank you very much. Rest my case.?⚖️

This happened just two days ago. My grandson wanted to place something in the microwave and my wife handed him a plastic sandwich baggy to place under it. I grabbed it right back and asked her what she was doing. Her reasoning was that we use plastic wrap to cover over things in the microwave, so she thought you could just place a baggie under things. I had to point out that the wrap clearly states it's microwave safe on the cardboard container, but nowhere on the cardboard container for the baggies does it say the same thing. And I went back to my normal comment on no common sense for a bright woman. I have that down to a science now. I just grin and shake my head "no" and she knows exactly what I mean.??

    You modern man you.

Microwaves are a bit of a mystery. I’m old enough to remember when they were new and novel and there was a subtle fear that we were slowly irradiating ourselves to death for the sake of pot pies.

Pot pies are probably worth it, honestly.
