George Soros’ foundation is funding the "No Kings" protests that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and tens of thousands of protesters will be participating in on Saturday.
Soros, a billionaire investor and notorious Democratic Party donor, is founder of the Open Society Foundation.
In 2023, the foundation, through the Open Society Action Fund, issued a two-year grant of $3 million to the Indivisible organization. The grant was "to support the grantee's social welfare activities," according to the Open Society Foundation's website.
Indivisible is "managing data and communications with participants" for the "No Kings" protests that will be taking place in Washington and across the country.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) appeared on Fox News' "Hannity" with this evidence and to speak about his "Stop Funders Act," which would add rioting to the list of criteria in order to bring RICO charges against organizations like Soros' Open Society Action Fund."

I wasn’t aware of how widespread these “No Kings” protests are. Apparently it’s not just the US, they have them in Europe, central America, and there’s one in Australia. I won’t be attending but l’ll be interested to see how well attended they are.

The artificial intelligence chatbot Grok has falsely claimed on X that aerial footage of crowds at an anti-Trump protest in Boston at the weekend was from 2017.
Reverse image searches of multiple frames from the video, which was clipped from an MSNBC broadcast about Saturday’s nationwide “No Kings” demonstrations, indicate that the footage has has only appeared on the internet after the date of the Boston protest.
Similar footage shown by local media outlets features matching signs, tent and stage placement.

Grok’s false claim, which it made repeatedly, appears to have been sourced from a proposed but unapproved Community Note attached to one post with the video.
Community Notes - a feature on X deigned to allow volunteers to add corrections or context to posts - says it was “proposed by an experimental AI contributor” and asks users to vote on whether it is helpful.
The unapproved Community Note lists three links about 2017 protests in Boston, but none support the claim that the aerial footage is old.
Screenshots of Grok’s claim and the unapproved Community Note were shared widely, including by pro-Trump influencers, as evidence of protestors misleading the public about the size of the “No Kings” demonstrations which took place across the US.
Grok eventually corrected its claim - and even began using BBC Verify as a source for its correction after a post on X by one of our team.
