The democratic party want to use this as leverage to get some kind of garbage passed that can't pass on it's own merit.
Luckily, the Repubs have some conviction this time to do the right thing and simply pass an easy bill with no garbage.

The inconvenient truth about that meme is that health care for illegals is the major sticking point.
On page 57, Section 2141, of their own proposed funding resolution, the democrats want to repeal Subtitle B of Title VII of "An Act to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14" (Public Law 119–21) from the Big Beautiful Bill.
Republicans insist this repeal would give access to free healthcare for illegals.
Democrats refute that claim, as does every source I’ve read thus far.

Fact is that illegals have never been entitled to free healthcare…EXCEPT for emergency room visits.
By law a hospital cannot turn down a patient regardless of immigrant status or the inability to pay.
Well we know how that goes.
