It is a mess. Seems like with the same crew, it will never be building, just going through the motions, mistakes, and maybe Bitonio may go ahead and retire, he thought about it last year, but decided to stick it out for 2025.

Seems like the Browns have been like a rowboat, plug one hole, another opens up, float a while, sink a bit, never get it all together to go fishing. We watch them on record all the time the past couple of years, to fast forward through all the commercials and half-time.

So AB & Stefanski actually got some playmakers in this draft ( it seems). Let them beef up the trenches in 2026 draft and see what transpires.

I just saw a post on X this morning... Depodesta has been here since 2016 and we have had 3 rebuilds since then.. Why are we paying him for.. Please Jimmy get rid of the Laptop Nerd Hive mind...

True to an extent. IF Haslam would drop his Jerry Jones-like fantasy that he's a football person, there's a golden opportunity for a coach to make it big here.

a decent crop of young guys who may improve
some veterans who still have some skills to contribute
a passionate, but beat down fan base who remains supportive for the most part

The other thing is there's only 32 jobs in the league, and only 4, 5, or 6 turn over every year. Someone will want it, hopefully a "type A" personality coach that can also relate to the younger generation. The Browns need more discipline (and talent) IMHO. Stefanski's strengths don't seem to highlight the discipline part (too many penalties).

I think when he signed that extension it was his way of committing to a Browns only career. After all the HOF is right there in Ohio. Very fitting.

why not,I mean sure they would all be late round picks but if anything Berry has shown he can maneuver around the draft board

Yeah, most likely you are looking at three first rounders between 22-32 every year.

Back end first round picks for a generational talent - one of those picks would need to fill the void he will leave behind. No thank you.

I would if they are smart enough to turn some picks around for a good QB. but we fucking suck and would find a way to screw it up. so Vette does it really matter ?
