I'm wondering how many current Browns Board members actually attend the games.

I dropped my season tickets this year, it seemed to me I was the only one going.

I'm not into telling people how they should "fan," it's their money.

Yeah, the days of going to a tailgate are over for some, like me - Browns aren't worth it anymore. The watson trade debacle was the last straw, and haslam and steflunski don't inspire many fans, if not most of the players. I watch the games on record, when I have nothin better to do, and I often fast forward through the offense, just to watch the defense - the defense is worth watching.

I believe that it is the first time in NFL history, that a team had a punt and a kickoff returned for touchdowns in a...half?  Maybe someday, browns, but....

Hard to believe this FO tandem & all those in leadership positions responsible (including HC) hasn't heard something like this.  I'm not one that wants to see people lose their jobs; but we're talking about guys making 6-7 figures that won't have trouble finding work again.

The ONLY thing that would suck about it is that Depodesta wasn't still here to hear any of it - kind of like the 2 missing frat brothers the Dean mentions in the video.  He already has a new job back in MLB where using film to evaluate players isn't as necessary as it is in football - his Utopian comfort zone that detours the WHY for just the numbers... We just need so much better - but we're in this position too frequently for comfort with this owner so firing one more group doesn't mean ski-wat if you hire another equivalent group. You fire to upgrade or get someone in here that can help you do this the right way...

Wow!  That part you highlighted in blue scares me even more about Jimmy.  I might be wrong about assigning a lot of my frustration at Depodesta especially considering he didn't exactly hire himself.   And regarding Berry, how can you work under Howie Roseman's supervision in Philly and not be capable of adding 1 reliable keeper in the draft on the OL the entire time since 2020?  It is possible that 6th round pick Luke Wypler could turn into one at C/OG in the neat future but come on.

The firings that will take place soon may excite many but only as long as the Owner is capable of hiring Keepers in the FO and HC this time around.  God only knows what kind of hiring criteria this guy uses: "Have you stayed at a Holiday Inn recently?"

It's really hard to defend Haslam, but he was probably thinking nothing else was working and he'd give it a shot.

My opinion is he really wants stability in the organization and he stuck with DePo way too long.

He pulled the trigger way to quick on Chud, allowed Ray Farmer too much power for instance. Hired Hue,which seemed to make sense at the time ( ugh).

I know I have repeating syndrome, but I like Stefanski, but he's most likely doomed now. The only thing that saves him is wins down the stretch, or key players supporting him. 5-22 isn't really acceptable at all despite the roster inefficiencies.

From a Supply/Demand perspective, this off-season is going to be a horrible off-season to find a football coach.

NCAA Openings: LSU, Penn St, Florida, Auburn, Arkansas, VA Tech, Stanford, OK St, UCLA

    NFL Openings: Titans, NYG

Hot Seats: Dolphins, Cardinals, Browns, Bengals, Falcons, NYJ

That's alot of movement. It's no guarantee a successful NFL coach can coach on Saturdays. It's no guarantee a successful College coach is ready for Sundays.

But it's the flowchart of the entire staffs. When there are so many openings, guys that aren't ready are going to get hired.

On-the-job training is so valuable, but college fan bases, administrations and athletic departments and NFL ownership and FO are the least forgiving and most demanding they've ever been. Expectations, at both levels, are to hit the ground running.

    Good take.

There's no quick fix  for the Browns outside of a capable offensive line and a good, big body WR IMHO.

A new coach would bring hope, maybe a shot of energy, but this offense as constructed isn't going to do much no matter who's calling the plats, etc

I think you will be able to eliminate Arkansas in the search. Bobby Patrino is the interim HC who at one time was a very successful HC for them before personal issues got him fired. Beat Texas weekend after this and he's got the job for sure. They have a capable dual headed running game to do that with too.

If it wasn't for bad luck, the Browns wouldn't have any luck at all.
