  • I'd say this is like when Myles used his helmet.

    Will DKs punishment match Myles?

Nope, only 2 games but he is appealing it.

Player vs player, player vs fan.

Don't be shocked that they put plexiglass, like a hockey arena, in NFL stands in the future.

DK was wrong, but fans shouldn't cross a certain line.

Look at Lamar in Buffalo, a fan pushed him from the stands, he pushed back. Society losing their minds everywhere.

  • I suppose there's two ways I want to answer this.

    - DK has to be smarter and the team captains should have had an eye on this.

    - I'm old school.  Talk shit, get hit.     This is why words are so important and you should be measured in what you say.  Your words should have conviction behind them, otherwise they shouldn't be said.  To quote Mike Tyson, "Social Media made ya'll way too comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it"

i thought it was just there so fans wouldnt get a puck to the head and die

  • Normally I would mostly agree but he didn't have to walk near the fans, and he could have walked away.

Words don't always justify physical violence, this wasn't a bar.

This was done in front of everyone while in the middle of the game. Punishment should have been more, at least what Myles got.

You have to have standards and set examples. He was on the clock and didn't represent the league or his team well.

But it's the Steelers so it's different. Can't hurt the cash flow by taking away their offensive weapon.
