Who here thinks collectivism is a good idea?
How about giving up private property rights?
Is it a good thing we hire racist that hate and blame white people for everything to govern over people?

I asked a question about what great things Mamdani has done or even has planned and I've yet to see an intelligent response. As a socialist he needs to to be on top of his game and so far he's behaving exactly as we would expect a socialist that hates America to behave.

I think we’re all interested in seeing how things go down with Mamdani’s tenure as mayor in NYC. I’m not a New Yorker so l can’t hang with the blow by blow, but l figure we’ll have some idea after his time is up.
I’m not sure exactly what you mean by “collectivism”, but after a brief Google search l think it has its applications. People have community gardens. People join civic groups to try and do positive things for their community. It works when people actually care about those around them, aka the collective.
I like private property. Collectivism might be good for making your community a better place, but you have to deal with your community to do that and it’s a pain in the ass. It’s good to have private property so that we can escape our community for a bit.

My bet is there is only so much he'll be able to do for now so it won't be all out socialism but it opens the door.
Anything that goes bad though will be directed at Trump and people like woody will suck it up because they've been brainwashed into thinking socialism is the cool new hip thing these days.

Woody Guthrie was a guy investigated by the FBI during that time. He was a staunch anti-fascist and had some communist leanings.
He also had a run in with Trump’s dad, Fred Trump. Fred owned the Beach Haven apartment complex in Brooklyn, and Woody was a tenant for a time.
Woody was not a fan of Trump, and he even wrote a song about it. I figure you all will appreciate this on different levels.
