Open up the fucking checkbook, Jimmy.
That didn't work out too well with Watson. And I don't know that I want my HC to be king.

Jimmy losing 100M is nothing compared to giving away 3 first round draft picks.
Jimmy is a dumbass, maybe he learned from it

I'm sure jimmuh wants harbaugh just as much as browns fans do. Problem is why would he want the browns more than the giants or falcons or a year of vacation.

I'm leaning "no" on Harbaugh.
- How much "fire" is left in his tank?
- We complained when they took Chubb off the field....Harbaugh only gave Henry 6 carries in the 2nd half last week, after he had 107 yards in the first half.
- The Ratbirds have under achieved the last few seasons.

The Browns should zero in on the Ravens candidates.
The Ravens previously interviewed Broncos assistants Vance Joseph (DC) and Davis Webb (Pass Game Coord). They've also requested interviews with Vikings DC Brian Flores, Chiefs OC Matt Nagy, Commanders OC Cliff Kingsbury, 49ers DC Robert Saleh, Dolphins DC Anthony Weaver, and Bills OC Joe Brady.
Because whomever the Browns choose from their list will not be the right one.

I'm incredibly fortunate to have spoken to someone with organizational ties to both the Browns & Tribe this morning.
He told me the brass is quite fond of Jeff Hafley and it's for 3 big reasons.
- Losing Schwartz means Hafley steps in and maintains a lot of the 1H foundations that Schwartz has implemented.
- The offensive coaching staff he will target to bring with him have roots with the Shanahan system.
- Organizational ties to the Browns. He was DBs coach for 2 years and had 3 pro-bowlers under his coaching in the same year. Basically proven track record.
Take that for what you will.

I like a HC with a defensive background. Run the ball, stop the run....generally a solid formula.

The Browns possibly hiring Mike McDaniel would already be a headline on its own.
Now it comes with a pretty incredible backstory.
NFL insider Mike Silver shared a story recently that goes back to the chaos of the 2014 season, when Kyle Shanahan was trying to get out of Cleveland after just one year as offensive coordinator. According to Silver, Shanahan did not leave quietly or easily.
He had help.
That help came from McDaniel.
Silver revealed that when Shanahan wanted to take a lateral move to become the Falcons’ offensive coordinator, McDaniel, who was the Browns’ wide receivers coach at the time, typed up a 32-point argument explaining why Shanahan should be released from his contract.
Thirty-two points.
“When Kyle Shanahan wanted to leave the Browns after the 2014 season for a lateral move as Falcons OC, he had receivers coach Mike McDaniel type up a 32-point argument why he should be released from his contract. Now McDaniel will interview for the Browns’ head coaching job. From my book, The Why Is Everything…,” Silver wrote.

So, knowing that he was here and part of some of the worst dysfunction, why on earth would he take an interview? It's the same lunatic owner.

Wow! Thanks for sharing that TJ. I can wrap both my brain cells around that news.

Both defenses flatlined during extended periods their offenses went cold on scoring. Even if just a coincidence, it's worth checking the trends I speak of in terms of when the Bears offense was hibernating to when the Packers' offense turned into moldy cheese.

Yeah, I wouldn't judge him too harshly Caleb just made some big time plays. The 4th down scramble could easily have been a pick, the receiver was surrounded by 3 GB defensive backs.

I'll be dead honest... After watching Williams last year... I truly did not think he would amount to much... But boy did he make me eat some greasy fried crow this season... I was even more impressed by his demeanor on the post game on field presser... Kids got some serious game...

There is a chance that the haslams hire a new dei oriented wimpy head coach. It's how the FNL is rolling.
I hope not, but.....
