Head Coach Search - Interviews

Sure you can and KS landed a good spot. He lucked out by being HC of the year a couple of times before being fired as the reason that we've sucked the last few years.
You think Hue or Kitchens had the potential to do better than they did without Haslam? Moot. They wouldn't have been hired in the first place.
The football people wanted McDermit instead of Jackson, and Stef instead of Kitchens. Haslam wanted the two bums we hired.

A random poster on a forum figured that out but the Falcons couldn't? Nah...
The reason we sucked is our Oline, WRs and QBs. He might not have been the best coach ever but he definitely was a scapegoat.
I wouldn't take that chance with my future NFL career at steak.
Either case, no matter how you look at it, it didn't end his NFL career.

Nobody's been able to do it with meddling Haslam.
Not moot as it disproves your nobodies truly were nobodies with or without Haslam.

Moot, I already acknowledged the front office and I'm saying if I was looking for a HC spot. I could care less who hired who, all I care about is having control on my field and getting paid.
Obviously the problem with Cleveland is our leadership in the front office.

Covered, we can move on.
What heights of NFL Head Coaching has Chudzinski, Pettine, Jackson and Kitchens been able to achieve since being our HC?
They are the same as Kitchens and Hue, nobodies, proving my point. Unless you think Haslam ruined them lol.

The Bills are reclaiming the crown of most dysfunctional organization. Imagine throwing a WR on your staff under the bus in public in an easily proven lie.
Reports are that they have Josh Allen sitting in on the coaching search interviews. Not a good idea, a player shouldn't be involved in that at all
They must be using the Aaron Rodgers playbook.

They're going to pick whoever Haslam wants. Who's in Haslem's ear? Berry? Son-In-Law? Homeless guy?

I don't think they are now worse than the Browns, except for just the past year, but what a mistake they made in that press conference. The owner blames the ex-coaching staff for drafting Coleman?
Apparently, the Bills GM admitted it WAS his pick, a bit later on the press conference...so the owner made an immature, frustrated-over-another-playoff loss, stupid statement.

""Can I interrupt," said Pegula. "I'll address the Keon situation. The coaching staff pushed to draft Keon. I'm not saying Brandon wouldn't have drafted him, but he wasn't his next choice. That was Brandon being a team player and taking advice of his coaching staff who felt strongly about the player. You know, he's taken, for some reason, heat over it. And not saying a word about it. But I'm here to tell you the true story.""

"To Beane's credit, he later said, "He was my pick," regarding Coleman. Perhaps the fact that there is video of him talking about wanting to draft Coleman at the combine made it easier to admit it.

— Billy M (@BillyM_91) January 21, 2026Whoever really wanted to draft Coleman, it doesn't really matter. He's been a disappointment and ended up benched multiple times this season. The real issue is how Pegula handled this moment, flat out blaming the coaches and absolving a GM who clearly was involved in the decision."

So, looking at Keon Coleman's draft profile - it seems that Coleman wasn't a willing blocker, slow out of his breaks, will have trouble getting open....etc
he was drafted way too high. To me, he was one of those guys with nice size, but not a guy who loves the game.etc
After losing Stephon Diggs, who is one of those explosive get open wr's, Coleman was a dumb draft pick, especially so high.
I mean, "rated as an average starter with time"...whatever.

"
Weaknesses
- Press coverage can blanket his release and catch a ride.
- Below-average acceleration getting out of breaks and cuts.
- Could struggle finding separation to avoid excessive contested catches.
- Needs to play through downfield corners to secure catch space.
- Capable of being a much more effective run blocker."
