Five different predictions for our 1st 2 picks via Mock Drafts per the Browns website
-
Jordan Tyson at 24 and then a few have him at 6
Fano at 24 and then someone has him at 6.
these are wildly off. I’d take Tate over Tyson and I wouldn’t touch Branch in the first round.
The Miami guy is gaining steam.

5 projections for the Browns 1st round picks | Mock Draft Roundup
Browns hold two picks in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft
Jan 23, 2026 at 09:00 AMKelsey RussoAssociate Editor & Staff Writer
With the draft order officially set for the 2026 NFL Draft and the deadline for underclassman not participating in the College Football Playoff National Championship to declare for the draft past, preparation for the draft fully begins.
The Browns hold 10 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, including two in the first round at No. 6 and No. 24. They also have their own picks in Rounds 2-5. In addition, they also have a fifth-round pick from Las Vegas (QB Kenny Pickett trade), a fifth-round pick from Cincinnati (QB Joe Flacco trade), a sixth-round pick from Chicago (DE Joe Tryon-Shoyinka trade) and a seventh-round pick from Seattle (C Nick Harris trade).
Over the next few months leading up to the draft, there will be key steppingstones of the draft season, beginning with the Senior Bowl in late January and the NFL Combine in late February.
So, let's take a look at early mock drafts to see who the draft experts and analysts believe could be options for the Browns for their two first-round picks.
No. 6 pick: OT Francis Mauigoa, Miami
Analysis: Brugler writes that the Browns need to address changes to their offensive line and will have to spend resources to do so. Brugler adds Mauigoa has been consistent in pass protection throughout the 2025 season for Miami, believing he has the highest floor of any offensive lineman in the 2026 draft class.No. 24 pick: WR KC Concepcion, Texas A&M
Analysis: Brugler believes addressing depth at wide receiver should be a high priority for the Browns early in the draft. He adds that Concepcion brings a skillset that features a fluidness and ability to get open before the catch, as well as creating after the catch. Brugler writes Concepcion could be an immediate starter as a slot receiver. He finished the 2025 season with 61 receptions for 919 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.No. 6 pick: OT Spencer Fano, Utah
Analysis: Kiper writes that over Fano's 37 career games, including 36 starts, he only allowed four sacks – the last of which came in Week 1 of the 2024 season. Fano played both tackle positions at Utah, and has size, power and technique to be successful at either left or right tackle.No. 24 pick: WR Zachariah Branch, Georgia
Analysis: Kiper addresses what he believes to be a need for the Browns with selecting Branch, who recorded 81 catches for 811 yards and six touchdowns in 2025 during his lone season at Georgia. He writes that Branch has the ability to turn a quick pass into a large gain and can use his speed when he catches the ball in space.No. 6 pick: OT Francis Mauigoa, Miami
Analysis: Wilson describes Mauigoa as having size and athleticism for his size at 6-foot-6, 335 lbs. He analyzes Mauigoa's ability in the run game to be stronger than his pass protection, but believes he is above average in both areas. Wilson sees position flexibility as well, whether at right tackle or inside at guard.No. 24 pick: WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State
Analysis: Wilson writes Tyson brings size, speed and catch radius to win at all three levels. He consistently makes contested catches and can also create separation at the top of his routes. Wilson also describes Tyson as being an asset in the screen game and can be a threat on the outside and from the slot. Tyson finished the 2025 season with 61 receptions for 711 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.No. 6 pick: WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State
Analysis: Froton writes Tyson has a profile as a "low-error, chain-moving receiver with just enough vertical juice to punish safeties who squat on his routes." He also describes Tyson as a high-volume perimeter target, as he was targeted 100 times, which he turned into 61 receptions for 711 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Tyson also demonstrated formation versatility, splitting reps between the outside and the slot.No. 24 pick: OT Kaydn Proctor Alabama
Analysis: Proctor played a significant role on Alabama's offensive line at left tackle in 2025, recording 901 snaps. Froton writes Proctor was sturdy in pass protection, allowing 21 pressures on 584 pass-block snaps with just two sacks attributed, and was also consistent in the run game.No. 6 pick: WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State
Analysis: McGuinness believes a top receiver should be a priority of the Browns during the draft, adding that Tyson dropped just 1.6 percent of catchable passes thrown his way during the 2025 season and earned an 89.0 PFF receiving grade against man coverage.No. 24 pick: T Spencer Fano, Utah
Analysis: McGuinness writes Fano earned 80.0-plus PFF grades as a run blocker and in pass protection during the 2025 season after he finished the 2024 season with a 92.6 PFF overall grade. Over three seasons at Utah, Fano started 35 of his 37 career games, including 11 starts at left tackle and 24 at right tackle.Don't shoot the knucklehead delivering this.

We've seen 2 OTs here from Bama in recent years that haven't made fans very happy with their pass protection (Wills & Robinson). It's difficult for me to be fair about him with Draft Analysts putting him in either draft slot in round 1 as a LT. I think he could be one of the best OGs though because he'll have an OL-mate to his left and right (removing all space to the left & right in pass pro) with a girthy bastard facing him = 100% doable.. In this league countless college tackles get drafted to play OG at the next level like Bitonio and Austin Corbett (still playing and starting for a playoff team in Carolina). There's some great candidates for that this year. If they're going to draft a LT - get the best guy your scouts have found via the extensive research required (ask Joe Thomas to help them if we're still counting on the same knuckleheads with all that).
Another thing I've noticed with the Miami Hurricanes is their RG #73 went John Deere Tractor on every opponent he faced in the playoffs while Mauigoa gets all the credit and recognition. He's 1 big, bad feller! If they show any reruns of Miami in the CFP he'll jump off the screen at you - I had to protect my frosted mug full of beer more than once. Here's a cut and paste of him before I share another way Miami helps Mauigoa in Pass Pro.
The CFP showed me how often Mauigoa had help to his immediate Right with a TE and a Wingback/H-Back 1 yard to the Right Hip of TE and 1 yard back. It was like an entourage preventing an edge rusher widening out to challenge the footwork/lateral movement of Mauigoa. Yes, that means I'm challenging any ideas that every team sees him as an OT in the NFL. It also means I could be the unchallenged village idiot in here if I'm wrong. Miami made a lot of effort to line-up 1-2 guys to the right of him - although they had some very good protection and time to throw from that.

I wish l wasn’t so uneasy about drafting a guy named Francis. Wasn’t it a Francis that stole Pee Wee’s bike?

Now if we draft Francis the Talking Mule he can not only kick ass, but is an excellent communicator with fellow OLs.??

Well they all know what we need.
It'a not scary at all that Berry has a horrible track record at drafting OLinemen and WRs.
Nope. Not at all.

If they hire Mike Martz (the former Rams OC & HC) who had LT Orlando Pace protecting the blind side of 29 year old rookie QB Kurt Warner throwing to WRs: Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce, Ricky Proehl and RB Marshall Faulk this has to be Divine Intervention reaching out to the Browns again. Then again, the Browns have refused Divine Intervention repeatedly; because someone always wants credit until he phucks up so bad it's "Dial-A-Scapegoat" time. Yes, another episode of fire the Head Coach because we're REALLY GOOD at it.
Martz has done everything we need but he's 74.

edit: but if he has the wherewithal to be able to get it done, Fuck it Hire the old geezer

I was just editing that into my post about his age. Give him a 1 year deal as HC and hire one of these other squids interviewing as an apprentice working under him.
Or, here's a new one and because it's the Browns - everyone would understand the outrageousness. Hire both Martz and Schwartz as Head Coaches and Title them: Scapegoat A & Scapegoat B.

well having the 1st over all pick in 27 might be enticing for a new coach

I have said this crazy thing. OL & or WR every time we're on the clock.
“I think our draft picks should be wide receiver, offensive line; wide receiver, offensive line; wide receiver, offensive line; wide receiver, offensive line. I want to find a way to get the No. 1 wide receiver on my board, that would be my top priority,” Zegura said.
