The first thing to do in assisting Gaza recover from conflict will to provide completely free of charge, demolition of the underground structures perpetually used for conflict, conflict which is to the detriment of Gaza civilians. Without any further delay, Israel should issue evacuation orders for the affected areas, and then destroy the so-called "Metro" terrorist tunnel system. If necessary the U.S. should provide Israel with the devices appropriate for demolishing tunnels that are well below surface level. There's a lot of these tunnels which, being a threat to peace, should be systematically-demolished; after all its the least that should be done, to help prevent further conflict.
