ICE happened to be in the process of taking an illegal into custody guilty of raping an 11 yr old at knifepoint when Pretti and his co-agitators showed up after being dispatched to the location.

Leftist media probably should have waited a week for more context before lionizing this guy for the sake of maligning ICE. Just like Good, it turns out Pretti was an agitator who was there to interfere with ICE arrests. He would be alive if MPD had been there to arrest him after the first time he attacked ICE agents (illegal) while carrying with CCW (also illegal and grounds to have your CCW revoked in Minnesota).
This situation just totally encapsulates the incorrect claim that ICE is over-policing.

Having a permit to carry, Pretti had a heightened responsibility when it pertains to carrying a firearm in an active law enforcement area.
I strongly urge you to listen this to understand Minnesota law. You need balance, not blinders.

I could certainly agree there is alternative ways to enforce the law. You could fine (AKA tax) the hell out of businesses that hire undocumented people. If there is no money to make, they will go back. These protesters have to be happy with businesses being heavily taxed/fined, it's part of their docterine.
But the idea that the current policy is too heavy handed, therefore deportations should stop is goofy.
It's very hard to follow the logic in Minnesota right now.
