  • Daughter is now publishing on Oct. 21 Book II of her "Gods" series of 3 called "The Things Gods Break" by Abigail Owen. You can pre-order the Deluxe Edition on Amazon. Picks up where Book I (The Games Gods Play) ended in a cliffhanger. I expect it will do well too since so many at book signings have asked when it was going to be published.

  • Congrats!..

  • B&N Website scroll down on it from the top to find "The Things Gods Break".  2nd in her series of 3.

  • Her second book in the series (above) made #3 on the NYT Bestseller list behind John Grisham and Michael Connelly books that came out the same day. Sold more books the first week than her prior #1 bestseller last year did. Competition is higher the closer you get to Christmas. She is on her way to a two week book signing trip already sold out in 3 major Australian cities.

  • This week her book moved to #2 on NY Times bestseller list and #1 in USA Today's list from #7.

    I'd do her.

Heya Tex, l bought it. A couple weeks after you posted this l perused the description and it looks right up my gf’s alley, so l ordered it and the first one for Christmas gifts. I went through my favorite little local bookstore, and the second one came but the first is on back order. Bright side is she must be selling a ton of ‘em if that’s the case. I’ll let you know what my gf thinks once the first one comes and she gets to reading.

Yeah, don't let her read them out of order. The 2nd requires knowledge from the first t start making sense right away. Funny thing is that the 2nd sold more it's first week than the 1st did it's first week, but it only made it to 2nd on the NYT Bestseller list because it came out at the same time Grisham's and Dan Brown's books came out. At any rate I'm just now into the 2nd, but I can tell you the 1st was one of the very best she has ever written. In fact it was so good that several of her prior novels are selling well now too.

Yeah, but then her husband would hang you up by them. Pretty strong athletic guy.?

  • She could retire before age 50 on what she has made just on "The Games Gods Play" alone. She and my wife are taking a 3 week book signing tour of European cities next month. I had to stay home to take care of cats and a dog. I am considering joining them in Paris when they are there for a few days and let my grandson handle the anamules.???‍?

  • My daughter's book, The Games Gods Play, has been optioned by Amazon MGM Studios for a Television series. That does not mean it will actually become a series, but they are paying to have the option to do so.
