Reading that article, and the quotes from the professor, it sounds like the underlying issue is that there isn't any educational standard across high schools. Not that there isn't an SAT requirement
She wants the SAT to act as a standardized metric, but that skews in the favor of certain groups.
Ensuring all high schools are aligned in what they're teaching seems like a better correction
