china has a near monopoly on rare earth minerals, which is what russia wants in the Ukraine (they have already taken control of three of the rare earth areas)....

Because China reaps all the benefits of the trade route, which is why so many Americans are dying from drug overdoses every year. Why does Trump want Greenland? Because it's a buffer zone, and would play a strategic role for our future "iron dome" that he wants to build.

In a BBC report dated 14 January 2026, Greenland's Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen has 'said his people would choose Denmark over the US if they were asked to make such a choice "here and now". '
I did find that rather amusing, considering that he said that - - - - while standing right next to his "boss" Denmark's prime minister Mette Frederiksen !
