I think we'd both agree that I'm not arguing it's better to be born black than white, but I am arguing that it is absolutely advantageous to be an applicant in academia who is black/hispanic/female. You're going to see its effects on medicine in the next 20 years when my cohort of doctors becomes the senior physicians and instead of being the best and brightest, there's going to be a good portion who are only there because of the color of their skin and/or what's between their legs.
Not gonna dox myself. Public service loan forgiveness (PSLF) isn't going away. It would need an act of congress to be done away with. If your son's already an intensivist, his loans are grandfathered into the program if he's at a 501c3 hospital.
I interviewed in Long Island for residency. Glad I didn't match there. Too fucking expensive.

He’s been an intensivist for roughly 6 yrs.
From the info you gave, I will have to revisit that with him.
He began his career as a doctor in NY…ground zero for when COVID hit. Received quite an initiation to the profession. Long hours and a lot of death.
Obscenely expensive. What he could get here for the $750K slab home he bought. Encouraging him to come home. The Cleveland Clinic wanted him. But he loves it there, he’s in a comfort zone. The reputation he’s earned among the staff and higher ups keeps him there.

You will have this when most of the population is white. Also, most black males in leadership roles tend to hire mostly black, it's not a white exclusive phenomenon.
Typical woody, has half a thought about something he is parroting then fades out to let others fill in the void.
Can you provide what that percentage may be with the country and in respects to race? Do you think only wealthy white people send their kids to private tutoring? All schools have the same curriculum and teachers that try, it's not the system or wealth, it's culture. White kids also grow up in other school districts.
Also, my son helps tutor his friends and cousins, it doesn't take a wealthy family to hire him. He doesn't even ask for anything but you have to have students willing to get help. Help is always accessible.
Standardized test scores by income, are you trying to say only white people are wealthy? Are you trying to say every black person is poor? Are you arguing for minorities?
What exactly are you hoping to prove about test scores and income? Generally, people with higher income care more and put in more effort. Wealth isn't given to them.

Asians were discriminated against as well, came over with nothing, didn't have the 'head start', got thrown into holding camps during the war, yet somehow, without all the government assistance that is being handed out today to help minorities, in the billions, they still managed to come out ahead of everyone.
I got to where I am because I put the time in, I studied, work hard, am professional and be sure to go above and beyond to earn my keep. Eventually, having a good attitude and work ethic pays off. Sitting back and crying how unfair everything is while coveting what others may have will keep you where you're at.
Everyone has their struggles, doesn't matter if you're white or a minority, you either work at it or your the problem.
