i mean i really like this stud at 39 but i think he will be gone
S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, Toledo
-
this guy could end up as our starting LT
OT Caleb Tiernan, Northwestern
-
Don't know if he'll still be there in round 3, but one of our two should be this guy if he is there and we don't go WR in round 2.
36. WR De'Zhaun Stribling, Ole Miss (7.4)
-
Wouldn't be upset with any of the top guys there, but I do think McDonald is going to end up as a strong player in the NFL. He showed a lot of promise as a TFL guy as almost exclusively an interior player, which is not common. It'd be a luxury pick for sure, but I also loooove having DLine depth.
-
we should be able to get at least one of these WR'S

Good to see WR Boston was the pick at 9.. that does mean only one of the WR's will be a star, but at least that's one hit rather than the no WR hits we've had in recent years..
I'd have gone with the Iowa OT [Dunker] or the Oregon OG [Pregnon] ahead of Barber. But Barber is 6'7, so someone's 11yo made this pick .

But we got one in the 4th from the Giants. And still ended up with our OT target down the road.

Draft picks:
- Round 2 (No. 39): WR Denzel Boston, Washington
- Round 2 (No. 58): S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, Toledo
- Round 3 (No. 86): OT Austin Barber, Florida
Analysis:
- Cleveland doubled down on receivers early in the second round, taking Boston as a power forward who wins 50/50 balls downfield. He’s a good complement to first-rounder KC Concepcion's speed and elusiveness.
- McNeil-Warren was considered a first round-caliber player by some because of his strong tackling and instincts, but his average athleticism pushed him into the second round. He reminds me of Jessie Bates coming out of Wake Forest, who went 54th overall in 2018.
- Barber was a fine value as the Browns continue to add depth to the offensive line.
-
Unless they targeted Barber to play center, they need to use draft capital to get Hecht early in the day. Like first 5 players early.
Best Aggie as a 5th round value (but he'll go in the 4th most likely). RB Le'Veon Moss. He's better than Ford because of vision and breaking through tackles.
EDIT: The other would be Will Lee III a very decent CB to fill in next time Hospital Ward gets a concussion.

I wonder what the story is with Jermod McCoy, the CB from TN?
I just read up and he tore his ACL in 2024 and was out all of last year. Apparently his 2024 film was really really good though, and l’m seeing him ranked pretty high on the mocks l’ve seen.

sadly, falls under medicals fans will never see..but teams see something there.. McCoy will play angry where ever he goes..
Browns still need a Slot Corner (TE maybe too) Berry may risk a steal on McCoy? stay tuned

I see Will Lee III was taken. Good pick.
