Are you a homophobe now all of the sudden?
Why point out crossdressing when you used to champion their rights?
Oh, now it suits your needs for your team...got it.
Dog has been explained extensively, not saying I agree with any of it, just not much to the story unless you're desperate to point fingers.

Boy, you ain't bright. No phobia here. Though I guess that's the best "defense" you got.
Conservative figures doing the things behind the scenes they aggressively hate publicly will never not be funny
Anyway, this thread in particular is insane. Have fun in your circle jerk.

We know you're in the closet homophobia and racist.

Ranchers and Farmers have always been a number one priority for me. They work very hard, are smart, efficient, and immaculately CLEAN, but for years I have heard that they have had a tremendous problem with the Big Processors, who many say are a nasty Monopoly. There are, essentially, 4 of them, a very non competitive number, and they make life miserable for our wonderful Farmers and Ranchers, and I can’t let that happen, can I? So, in order to break this powerful monopoly, with much of its ownership based outside of the U.S., I am authorizing legal documents to be drawn in order to allow Farmers and Ranchers to be given the right to PROCESS THEIR OWN FOOD. This should move quickly. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP
I also heard the strait is open.
Now if he can start lowering prices at the pump and grocery store we'll be in business.

I’m a big fan of farmers and ranchers too. I wasn’t aware of the Big Processors. I thought they just sold cattle and it was the onus of meat packers to do the processing.
Our former favorite Brown Joe Thomas started a ranch, Hall of Fame Farms. I gather it’s like a boutique ranch where you can buy direct. I ordered once, it’s not cheap, but it’s good. I doubt their products are sold in grocery stores though, so l assumed they did their processing in house. Here’s a link.

We’ve been getting proactive and a little savvy with where we get our food, and we’ve even started producing it. Living in Ohio it’s not hard to support local farmers. Most towns have a weekly farmer’s market where you can buy direct. I don’t know if we’re saving a ton of money, but it’s cool supporting your neighbors.
This was our first year with a big garden, and chickens. Pro tip, don’t let your chickens in to your garden. Those bitches will do a number on your garden, lol.
It’s been a mixed bag of results, but we’re learning a lot. Home grown tomatoes, grew some beans, we’re even growing some corn. We got a raspberry bush, but chickens love raspberries. Those bitches.
We got an indoor planting unit type thing that is great for herbs. Parsley, cilantro, dill, etc.
I joke about the chickens but they’re great to have around, and about as low maintenance as owning a cat. We haven’t bought eggs in over a month and we’re at the point where we’re pawning them off on neighbors.

I'd love to have chickens someday but not ready yet.
Same with a garden, I do not have a green thumb I learned but I'll have to catch on.
I also had no idea there was any monopolies in processing. Hopefully this works out well for our farmers and customers.

farmers have it tough - various reasons - weather, energy prices, fertilizer prices.....
my problem is with the shortcuts. Too many farmers take the easy route, a lot of herbicides, fungicides, pesticides.....artificial fertilizers, chemical processing to stop or slow the ripening, other chemicals to go ahead and ripen, hybrids for marketability - not so much for taste and health. Most big farmers use roundup etc to kill off weeds - saves from having to plow or disc so much. Some farmers have a guy come in with a $10,000 drone that can carry a tank and fly over the crops - saves the loss when using a tractor and sprayer. I've seen it in action - pretty cool.
On gardening, the garden this year is smaller because it wouldn't stop raining long enough. crazy. The heat stunted my sweet corn, and I am just now getting cucumbers and squash. The wild blackberries got burnt up by the sun, so good thing I made a LOT of wild blackberry jam last year.
I've heard there may be a wheat shortage for next year - I'm going to get a small grain grinder and buy a big bag of wheat berries, I'll grind my own flour when I need it. I thought of chickens, but it's work and we travel here and there, and the price of feed ends up not being cheap. My strawberries produced well, and I plan soon to squirrel hunt. I've been gardening since forever - blue lake beans are excellent - I'm good at making zucchini bread, etc, Amish paste tomatoes are surprisingly good, I saved seen from heirloom tomatoes. Haven't made ground cherry jam yet. My dandelion jelly is awesome - a big hit with friends - and I still have dandelion blossoms in the freezing for dandelion fritters this winter. Our apple trees are doing terrific - red northern spy and mcintosh. The pear trees didn't do well - have to trim them this late fall. I'm thinking about planting part of a field with an heirloom wheat, but I have to arrange for a local farmer to use his combine to pick it all. I collect parsley, stinging nettle and spearmint for teas, dandelion and chickory root for coffee (haven't made coffee with it yet), I've made white pine needle tea..... my favorite tomato - sunsugar cherry tomatoes. great in salads or just snacking. Heirloom brandewine and rutgers are also high on the favorites list. My sweet peppers did really well - we used to sell tomatoes at a farmer's market - a LOT of folks would only buy from us - we grew them naturally. NOTE - some farmer's marketers do not grow their own produce. They go to produce auctions and buy lots of stuff. I've had people say they grew their stuff, and when I asked what type of tomato, a few answered ...uh.... "red" or they didn't know. selling sweet corn in early may in ohio, then saying they grew their own sweet corn there in ohio...
a definite clue.
of course, the left will yell that the drought is Pres Trump's fault and a "threat to democracy".

Economic Impact of Drought: Crop Yields, Profit Margin, Inflation ...
4 days agoHow does drought affect food prices? Drought reduces crop yields, shrinks livestock supplies, and raises the cost of agricultural commodities such as wheat, corn, and cattle. Those higher costs often ripple through the supply chain to food manufacturers, grocery stores, and restaurants.
