    Unbelievable.

Verse is pretty good but I feel like this trade is Verse and #2 or #3 QB prospect in the 2027 NFL draft.  Do we all think that is enough

    🚨 🚨 🚨

Bombshell: The #Browns are finalizing a trade of Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the #Rams in a shocker, sources tell me, @TomPelissero & @AdamSchefter.

Cleveland would send Garrett to LA in exchange for star edge Jared Verse, a first-rounder, and more.
  • Wowza.

I’m seeing the compensation details aren’t fully known yet, but it’s at least Jared Verse and the Ram’s 2027 first round pick so far.

  • Better be multiple first round picks.

  • Better be multiple first round picks.

I agree because the Rams pick is going to be in the mid to late 20s at best

As long as Old Man Stafford stays healthy you are correct.  If not it gets a little bit dicey.

  • Quit crying bitches, the Browns didn’t win shit with him. At least they are getting something for him

  • Rams have a 2nd and 4th left in the upcoming draft and all of their 2028 picks.

  • As long as there's two high round picks in addition to what is being reported, this is a great deal.

Let's face the music- this team is going to be bad until Watson is off the books. This 2026 draft was all about getting young talent some experience under their belt to get a QB in the 2027 draft. Monken screams 'one and done' coach to me personally, and if this season goes to shit no one is going to act like it's a bad decision to get a new, young coach who may actually see this team as a contender with their guy at QB. Garrett is an absolute monster and I have no doubt he will be elite for 4-5 more seasons. However, you're very likely talking about 3 years from now into that window before it maybe pays off.

That all realistically points to this being a no brainer.  Having as much ammunition for next year is just the logical end game for a guy, while historically great, is only adding 1-2 wins by his play. It sucks to lose another all timer (see Joe Thomas) who essentially didn't get to any real level of success, but that's how it goes.

  • Wow, end of an era but this may be our Hirschel Walker trade that turns the franchise around.

  • Good for Myles & the Brownies.

The pass rush won't be the same, because Myles is Myles.  But it won't fall off a complete fucking cliff either.   The IDL just needs to step up.     The Browns are hording draft capital for 2027 and we'll see what we get with the QB situation along the way.

Myles... it has been a pleasure.

  • Final components 2nd in 2028 and a 3rd in 2029.

What a terrible trade. This trade in my opinion does little to help you acquire a QB in the next draft. I would like to know why they felt they must trade him now after just resigning him.

  • I would have liked a 1st round in 28 or 29.

I could see the Rams being average in those years.

we need to hope that the Jets, Cardinals, Dolphins and maybe a few others don’t land the top pick.

Let’s say it’s the Raiders…it is the Jets and Browns maneuvering and trading up picking their guy assuming one is better than the rest.

This trade doesn’t guarantee us much in regard to the QB spot

  • Berry got fleeced imo.

Generational player nets you one first rounder, a player, and a couple extra picks? I get that Verse is pretty good but I expected more.

Good way to look at it. The Browns are way overdue for some good fortune.

If the bid was two 1st round picks, then Verse is that 2nd first rounder.     So think of it like that.  The Brownies really did get 2 first round picks on top of the 2nd & 3rd.
