Schools should be in the business of strictly teaching children and education, why are they involving themselves into a political propaganda protest that turns violent?

None of their time or resources should go to anything other than education.

If they want to do it on their personal time representing themselves, fine I guess. But I would think you have more important things to do or worry about.

Furthermore as a union, your job is to represent your workers in the employment environment, anytime spent outside means you have too much time on your hands. I can maybe see going out and supporting candidates that support unions, but anything beyond that is stepping out of bounds. Wasting your members time and resources.
