Sorsby declares for the supplemental draft
-
Probably... Arch doesn't really thrill me.. Next years class doesn't impress me much.. But that could change after this upcoming season..
It has potentially a ton of quantity, but I'm not sure about the quality at the top of the draft yet.
Was talking to my buddy after the Guardians game Saturday driving back home and he really likes the kid from USC. Might be a guy to keep our eyes on.

Lawsuits and a gambling addiction? This guy has Browns QB1 written all over him!

Yup. A QB with suspension potential would fit right in. I went and watched a youtube highlight reel on him. Mostly he ran the ball and threw to wide open receivers. He a 61% completion guy with pretty good size. I don't see us throwing in a chip after drafting the Olympian.

A gracious gift no doubt. The Haslam family has buildings all over the campus. The family has donated over $250 million over the years. They are loyal to UT. Other than Peyton the Mannings have no loyalty to UT. I don't see any connection between what the Haslams just did and somehow buttering up the Mannings.
Also, they recently donated $190 million to University Hospitals for cancer research. Say what you want about the Haslams, they are pretty generous with their money.

The people who ripped off truck companies for tons of money?
Glad to hear they donate money to help with their tax write-offs.

Well, we have "Red Right 88" + "The Drive" + "The Fumble" + "The Trade" so there's some elbow room for "The Bet" if they go in this direction. What could go wrong? ?

Not enough, he must harass or rape women.
-
Could he be something some day? Yea
Right now? The 1st/2nd round hype is not warranted at all. It's purely media created to push a story.
-
If we were to draft him, we'd have 5 QB's on the team, 4 of them drafted in the last 2 years. I can't picture that kind of madness.
-
I would be so completely pissed.
...and then we draft one in round one in '27.

So you know he did but IRS, DOJ auditors and the evidence couldn't? Maybe the FBI should hire you to clear up hundreds of cold case files.

The Fuel Rebate Scandal
The Scheme: Executives and sales staff targeted smaller, less-sophisticated trucking companies that relied on βcost-plusβ fuel pricing. Salespeople manually adjusted or underpaid the contracted fuel rebates, keeping the difference to boost company profits and their own commissions. [1, 2]
The Fallout: The FBI and IRS raided the company headquarters in 2013. Pilot Flying J ultimately paid $92 million in federal penalties and $85 million to settle lawsuits with the defrauded trucking companies. [1,
, 3, 4]Convictions: Over a dozen former executives and sales staff pleaded guilty or were convicted. Former President Mark Hazelwood was sentenced to over 12 years in federal prison.
Keep licking Jimmy's boots...

Everyone knew what was going on but nobody gave up Jimmy and the janitor...because one signed their checks and they didn't want to empty their own trash.

If Sorsby is the answer, the question is something about illegal gambling - and nothing to do with the difficult grind of finding a way to become slightly better each day at the profession of football.
Be honest with yourself: Sorsby spent exactly zero minutes watching film.. he was(is) more interested in finding an edge to bet Bulgarian womens rugby than in focusing on his job.
He isnt a leader, he's a cancer. Stay far away.
