I’ll just drop this here, as we’re on the cusp of football season.

I really do love football, but I admit, there's always a bit of me that gets sad when I know football is about to start.

Summers fly by the older you get. One day it's Memorial Day, the next it's Labor Day. Ugh.

LOL... Funny how slow life goes when you're a kid.. then all of a sudden.. You're in your 20's.. Holding down a job.. Paying bills... Then suddenly Mid life crisis knocks at your door... You blink again then you cross the the threshold into geriatric living... I remember my father always telling me "Don't blink'..... When you're young.... Your too busy having fun to give a shit sometimes..... Then all of sudden... There you are...

The older I get the less and less I like the heat of summer.

I suppose it depends on where you live. Here in Chattanooga, summers here are long and hot, winters here are short and mostly mild.

You aren't wrong. I work in the general construction field, and the summers beat me up to the point that doing things outside aren't really high on my wish list. Definitely try to do night games for the Guardians and Rubber ducks.

I could definitely go for short and mild winters though. Sounds wonderful.
