Then shit went south and he acted like he wasn't involved at all. It's all a very clear con man playbook you morons fall for every damn time.
This got attention because it was the latest in a long line of Trump failing. The latest example of everything the man touches turning to shit. On the Grand scheme of things, are these renovations important? No. Is this saga a very visible and digestible example of this administrations corruption and incompetence? Yes. That's the point.
