Do you not want a data center in your community?
-
Then you're backwards and poor
https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/117190477440173795
The only reason that communities throughout the U.S.A. should not want Data Centers is if they want to end up being backwards and poor. If they want to be successful and rich, with far lower taxes and jobs all over the place, let Data Reign. The good news is that there are plenty of other places that want them. If we kill the Golden Goose, you will only have yourselves to blame. China could not be happier with this anti Data Center movement. Actually, they can’t believe it is happening! President DJT

I like the idea, but there are problems that have to be resolved.
A. I think they need to have their own energy produced. Putting that much toll on the local grid.....
surely would raise rates . Nobody needs brownouts because some small community gets a data center and nobody
resolved any issues about that.
B. It is said that a data center uses far less water than a golf course. My concern would be any damage to the underground water
table - for those like us who have wells, and/or ponds.
C. It has been shown that anti-data centers are funded hugely by communist chinese funds, albeit indirectly?
This must stop.
D. Other than that, it depends on the geographical area - resolve any possible issues, and build em.

It's funny watching your brain struggle with the conflict between blind devotion to Trump and the recognition that giant data centers everywhere is a bad idea. We even got something blaming Chinese Communists...
You like nature cal... How about we throw one in your backyard? If you say no you're backwards and poor.
Just follow the money. For the swampiest, most corrupt admin in modern history... Just follow the money.

another woodpecker ASSbird fart?
I answered your op legitimately, hoping you wouldn't just use it for more of your birdpoop garbage.
I said nothing about Trump.
As far as communist chinese influence/funding on our data center opposition?
you lose again.
Chinese influence funding on data centers is linked to campaigns that oppose U.S. AI infrastructure development, with reports indicating that foreign entities, including those tied to the Chinese Communist Party, are involved in funding advocacy groups that drive this opposition. This situation raises concerns about the impact of foreign money on local decisions regarding data center projects in the U.S.

So you agree this is basically what it comes down to, a zoning issue.
No different than people not wanting any industrial business in their backyard.
I too would be worried about the water table, a lot of people still use wells.
You realize just cause someone doesn't want it in their backyard doesn't mean it's bad.
You have any other issues against or for it?

You are definitely an immature child.
Just when I said nothing disparaging and asked an honest question with no intentions.
You also confirmed what we all figured was the reason for this post, nothing but a TDS rant and absolutely nothing to do with a topic.

The purpose of this thread is to point out hypocrisy. Folks that were anti data center are now "well, umm, maybe, if, well" because Trump is pro data center. It's pathetic.
