I hate that the Browns and Bucs play again this yr
️FUCK!!!
? It's been hotter than Hell down here this year too; so of course they open in Jax before they head to Tampa in week 2. If they have to wear those brown away jerseys they're gonna freakin cook. Of course, when Pittsburgh has to travel to each of those cities - they don't go to Tampa until October 18th and Jax on Thursday, December 14th in the same Calendar year Pittsburgh hosted the draft. Hmmm...

Zak Zinter's surprising turnaround is helping the Browns solve a major problem
"Really, I thought Zak Zinter played his way onto the roster with the way he played the last two games," Monken said. "He got dinged up a little bit early in camp, and I thought he played his way on the roster." Now, Zinter remains on the roster as one of the key backup offensive linemen.
This I'm going to have to see to believe. Like against real defensive linemen. Not the guys he was playing against in the 4th quarter last week. Hopefully nobody gets hurt so we don't have to find out.

Understandable, which is why Todd Monken had the same perspective prior to announcing "I thought he played his way on the roster." It's not uncommon for 2nd string OL to face 1st string DL in practices in a week of preparation for a game. That being the case, if he was getting Raggedy Ann'd by Mason Graham or Maliek Collins in practices leading up to the last 2 preseason games - I'm thinking he would have been cut. I'm not saying I'm right and you're wrong as much as I'm saying I don't think it boiled down to how he did against guys that might not make an NFL team as much as how he did against guys that will be playing on Sundays this year.
The question I have for you is - who is going to have bragging rights between you and your grandson after the opener in Jacksonville?

When the schedule came out I lured him to the master bedroom, announced to him that Browns & Jaguars were going to play each other, grabbed and sacked him to the bed saying that Myles Garrett was gonna sack Lawrence 4 times.
And while covering himself from being tickled he said, I DON'T THINK SO! -- Ahh, the good ol' days. How fleeting they are. -
