actually, that is also an excellent point. Reagan was president back then. The House was controlled by the democrats - Tip O'Neal was speaker. Democrats had control of both houses of congress. Dems spend our taxes politically, regardless of whether or not that money is well spent for us, the American people. And they keep raising them.

Therer definitely needs to be a cap at the very least. Once a senior citizen reaches say, age 65, it should never exceed a set amount of money (not sure what that is, every county is different).

After our property taxes doubled and people protested, the gov't officials did the same fear mongering about not having enough funds and if we even just revert our taxes police will go under and we won't be protected.
Now all of the sudden our police dept has enough funds to install flock cameras just as other communities are actually getting rid of theirs due to abuse and privacy concerns.
Something needs to change. Senior citizens is a good start.

This is a gigantic deal - russian and chinese ships have been all over Greenland's coastal areas. China gets into countries economically, with the chinese military right there with them. Communist companies are government owned communist countries.
